Pack your slippers, a cozy blanket and favorite movie while you stay at Pine Cone Cottage on West Twin Lake! Enjoy the lake view, while enjoying the convenience and proximity to both downtown Nisswa and Pequot Lakes and surrounding lakes. The cottage is less than a mile from the famous Paul Bunyan trail, so bring your snowmobile, snowshoes or cross country skis for some refreshing outdoor exercise and memorable. fun! Other amenities include a ping pong table, games, complimentary coffee, free access to the garage to park your snowmobile in & more! Pine Cone Cottage is a spacious 2,600 sq. ft property with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with all major appliances and utensils for homemade evening meals, as well as the essential coffee pot (regular drip coffee pot) for guests to enjoy with complimentary coffee from a local roastery to enjoy! There is a dining room table that comfortably seats 6 guests (4 chairs and a bench) and two additional bar stools. The upstairs family room boasts great views of the lake, as well as comfortable seating in front of a stone **fireplace. Enjoy walking out to the deck and listening to the morning loons while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea! The downstairs family room provides a spacious and comfortable experience for all ages. There are games provided that will be sure to create instant laughs and lasting memories, as well as a newly added ping pong table! In the master bedroom, there is a full-bath as well as a comfortable king size mattress and walk-in-closet. The other four bedrooms provide a cozy and comfortable queen size mattress and closet space in each room. There is a beautiful and spacious laundry room located right off of the main entrance door on the first floor. There are five steps leading up to the front door, as well as to the back porch patio. WINTER: Bring your snowmobile as the cabin is just minutes away from the Paul Bunyan trail, as well as other trails in the area. The garage is available and free for use November-April. Other outdoor activities include ice fishing on the lake or surrounding lakes, minutes from outdoor skating rinks and close to many snow shoes/cross country ski trails. If outdoor winter activities are not your thing, just enjoy the cozy cabin feel around the fireplace with hot chocolate or playing board games! SUMMER: the dock is available for swimming, kayaking (two kayaks & two life jackets provided) or docking your boat. There is also a fire pit located near the lake for evening bonfires! Also, the lake is large enough for tubing and skiing behind the boat! *December-April: Available for monthly stays and receive a 50% discount. **Unfortunately the fireplace is currently unavailable for use.

The property was easy to find and looked just as the photos had advertised. The downstairs beds were not very comfortable but we made it work by having some people sleep on couches. Would have been nice to have extra pillows and blankets available for the beds. It was clean and the host was very responsive! Beautiful views too!

Our family needed a place to stay for a family wedding happening in Nisswa. It was only 4 miles away so it was convenient to the Catalyst event space. My grandkids loved the VRBO..especially the ping pong table! Plenty of space for the entire family of 10. Would stay again!

We had a great time as a family. The place was clean, beds comfortable, as well as the seating areas in the living room and downstairs. We enjoyed a fire one night roasting hot dogs and smores. Thanks so much for the firewood. Thank you for a nice stay.

We are are a national auto racing series and rented the property for our staff supportin an event at nearby Brainerd Int'l Raceway. This property was very well appointed, the host was a delight to work with (very responsive), home was equipped with everything we needed and more and is so conveniently located on a very gorgeous and peaceful lake. We will for sure be back!

We enjoyed the property and amenities such as the dock and kayaks. House is very well kept. We caught fish and watched a family of loons. Traffic across the bay is slightly noisy but you get used to it. Had an excellent time. We would stay again.

Location is perfect for getting around Nisswa and Brainerd activities. The home was perfect for a large family and very clean. However, the basement was freezing and we were not able to adjust the temperature. Also, we were very disappointed in the actual lake and lakeshore, full of rocks and weeds, not appropriate for swimming.

The house is very nice and clean. We enjoyed the backyard fishing and fire pit. The house is nicely located in the middle of some nice cities. The air didn't work when we got there, so it was very warm, but Emily had someone out there right away to get it taken care of.

The property was exactly as advertised, clean, and well maintained. We stayed in the winter so we couldn't enjoy the outside area as much as if it would of been in the warmer months. Great location with a short drive to downtown Nisswa. A couple of suggestions would be to update bath towels and kitchen towels as all were really worn along with providing hotel sized shampoo/conditioner and shower gel/soap. We would definitely stay again at Pinecone Cottage!

The home was very cozy. Great location. A good get away for a family. The only suggestion I would have is a humidifier on the lower level. There was a musty smell. Also It seemed the towels sat in the washer for a long time before drying and had an order. I would recommend this property.

We had a great time staying here! It was incredibly clean when we arrived and the communication with the owners was excellent. The layout of the house is perfect whether you want to all be together or when you want to find a quiet place to retreat to. There's plenty of bedrooms for everyone and having the bathroom attached to the master bedroom is a huge plus. We will certainly look at staying here again in the future as we all loved our time here!

We were so happy with our stay at this beautiful property. The house is lovely and well set up for larger groups. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs, which has a bathroom and livingroom along with direct access to the yard. It is located at the end of the lake so there is very little boat traffic. Conveniently, it's a couple minutes away from the shops at Nisswa and only about 14 mins to Brainerd. We would definitely rent it again if we come back to the area!
