Lovely clean, quiet and spacious property in a fantastic location.
Easy to reach the main sights in the city on foot. Was great to wander through the lovely cobbled streets to discover the treasures of Old Lille - restaurants, estaminets, bars, the zoo, the citadel, parks, art galleries, the cathedral etc are all on the doorstep!
Metro and mainline stations are in walking distance too. We took a day trip to Brussels.
Good communication with hosts throughout.
Great value for money.
Would love to stay again.

This is clean and well presented accommodation in a great location in the heart of Lille and has a nice shower BUT we ended up being disappointed and exhausted.
It is let down by a lack of basic supplies that the typical traveller, with carry on luggage, is not going to bring themselves. Only one modest sized towel is provided per person and one thin pillow. There is a dishwasher (no tablets provided) but with 3 mugs and 4 glasses you will not use it and have to wash up. There is no tea towel provided. There is no bread knife just a small paring knife. With one of Lille’s best boulangeries just around the corner make sure you ask them to slice the bread. Two small toilet rolls for 3 nights seems stingy.
Much is made in the house rules of being quiet after 10pm but with thumping dance music being played on Thursday night until well after 1am, at least it drowned out the movements of our neighbours in their apartments, There is little sound proofing. Make sure you bring eye masks, the bedroom windows overlook a courtyard used by other residents to access their flats. A bright automatic light comes on frequently. Other residents do not respect the noise restrictions with loud conversations in this courtyard.
Not suitable accommodation for anyone with knee problems. There is a narrow spiral staircase to the flat that would be very hard to carry large luggage up.
There is a credit card commitment to a €250 deposit taken by credit card by the property management company Immoka before the booking is complete.
