Good location in Orvieto to stay, close to Duomo.

Very central apartment near Duomo, close to bars & restaurants.

I was charged twice for this stay. Once on booking and again when checking in, when Alessandro insisted the first payment was only to ‘secure’ the booking (despite me showing him the deduction on my credit card bank app). Either the owner or Alessandro or my credit card realised the double payment and a refund was made a few days later. Netflix was only on kitchen tv - not a comfortable location to watch a film etc in evening! Washing machine missing its dispenser drawer making it useless. No clothes airer to hang up hand washed clothes. Apartment was decorated in full colours so quite dark and since there was no heating (we had a few wet days during our stay) it was cold.

An inglorious arrival

Good location and clean place.

The communication with the staff on arrival was not good. They (2 different people, so I wasn't sure who I was messaging with) asked me to contact them 1 hour before arrival and I did that. No response. Twice. Then I received an angry message saying that they were waiting for me since 4pm at the address. When I told them they hadn't messaged me back, they acted annoyed, like I had inconvenienced them. Then, once in the apartment, I couldn't read the Wi-Fi password because it was completely illegible. This was not a good start and soured the stay there.

Perfect location.

Flat was in a lovely location, right in the centre of town. Davide was helpful and flexible. Communication was clear. Flat was very clean and we liked the building as well as the flat itself. Bathroom was well equipped, except for the shortage of TP.

Heaters were set on "automatic" and not to be touched, but flat could get a little cold; it was December, so that's not so strange. This was the first time in my 14 years of renting short term flats that there were no welcoming wine or anything. Kitchen had only the barest minimum of utensils, and no wine glasses! (in Italy!!) No salt, pepper or oil. It had a dishwasher, but no pods or other kind of soap for this machine. No tea towels or cloths to clean with, and no paper towels and only 1 1/3 roll of toilet paper.

Loved the town, its history and vibe

Location was great-a block from the main cathedral, and a short walk to the other end of a large square that had another church and entrance to the cavern tour. Lots of great shops nearby, including one street of local artisans. Everything within easy walking distance.

Somewhere closer to park at than the big garage at the other end of town, which was expensive for an overnight.

Ruim appartement in het midden van Orvieto. Het appartement zelf was prachtig en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Verder kan je vlakbij parkeren voor +- 11 a 12 euro per 24 uur. Wij hebben het hier goed naar onze zin gehad tijdens onze doorreis naar het zuiden!
