Stay was close to Taj Mahal. Staff was kind and polite. My family was not feeling well due to travel, but the manager offered overtime stay without charge. We had a nice time in Agra.

It is a nice, clean quiet location and within a kilometre or so of the Taj Mahal, so I would say within walking distance. Food served was nice and home-made. The hosting family was helpful.

The Orchid Retreat was awesome! It was a long day travelling from Varanasi and when we got there Vikrant and family immediately made us feel very welcome. The rooms were huge by hotel standards. Modern and very clean. The bathroom was a generous size with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The hotel is situated on a quiet street and a 15 or so minute walk to the east gate of the Taj. We really enjoyed our stay - especially the hospitality. Nothing was a problem for Vikrant to organise.
Everything was great. No complaints or suggestions.
