location was great, off the beaten path and fairly close to all the wonderful restaurants, shops and attractions
nice being up in the trees where we enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to birds & seeing the iguana & the geckos
water was close by and we found a perfect spot for watching the sunsets.
great to have 2 bathrooms
Suggestions:
provide better lighting under the house to light the way to the stairs
address the refrigerator’s loud rattle and the AC unit which was very loud, hearing it both inside and outside
fix the cracks at the bottom of the bathroom door to the right at the end of the hallway
secure the main door which seemed loose
a light over the kitchen sink would be helpful

The property was in the perfect location for us. It was clean and cozy and felt like home. It was equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the patio and playing cards or having dinner was awesome!!
There was nothing we didn’t like. The one thing it could use is new window blinds especially in the master and patio door.

The location was great. Even though it was the busy season in the keys, Marathon is a little less busy and commercial. The Treehouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but you can walk to the Gulf (not a beach, but a pier you can sit on) to watch the sunset without worrying about traffic or crowds. The house is well equipped and comfortable.
While there is a nice deck, with a gas grille and picnic table, the gas grille didn't work well enough to cook meat. We had to take the meat off and cook it inside. Also, the locking mechanisms on the sliding glass doors out to the deck are broken, and the right door is difficult to slide. We were able to get the sliders locked when we arrived (it took a while), but didn't use them for the rest of the week because we weren't confident we could get them locked again, and didn't want to leave the house unlocked while we're out.
