Located in Bolivar Peninsula, this charming house for $127 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Ternhaven, your spacious retreat where the sights and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico are a balm to the soul. Gather your friends and family around the ample dining table, or around the downstairs bar or fire pit — and make memories to last a lifetime. Bring your binoculars and camera to one of the best birding sites in North America for the multitude of bird species that abound throughout the year. A two minute drive through the adjacent subdivision takes you onto the beach for swimming, sunbathing, and shell collecting. Ternhaven is set within a quiet subdivision with larger houses and yards, next to a lovely bayou, where you can observe waterfowl. Beach access is a two minute drive to the adjacent subdivision, where you can drive onto the beach. The space Ternhaven is a spacious three bedroom, two bath, beach house with a sleeping loft and an outdoor shower. Enjoy the sea breezes and expansive views off of the back deck. Entertain around the large dining table and relax on the large sectional sofa, or outside around the fire pit. The master bedroom offers peace and comfort, as well as views of the Gulf of Mexico. You'll enjoy soaking in the large tub or taking a luxurious break in the four-head shower. The quaint queen bedroom is conveniently located off of the foyer, and across from the bathroom, and offers ample closet and drawer space. The bunk room is adjacent to the bathroom and is also conveniently close to the foyer. The bathroom offers a shower/tub combo with a detachable shower head. Note: there is a collapsable stool for those needing help to reach the sink or toilet. You'll love the large living area, with high ceilings and large windows facing the Gulf and overlooking the upper rear deck. The rear deck overlooks a bayou, where you'll frequently see waterfowl, stalking fish. Guest access As a guest, you will have access to the entire property except the two garage spaces, the cargo lift, and the owner's closet. Other things to note Ternhaven is in a quieter, more family oriented part of the Bolivar Peninsula, so please be considerate of our neighbors and respect quiet time after 10pm. Please note that we use noise level monitoring to ensure that no events are hosted and that noise levels are reasonable. Please note: starting on July 16, two new houses are being constructed in the adjacent cul-de-sac. We assume that noise from that activity will be only during beach time hours.

The property was very beautiful. The house was very clean. Everything was very well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The property owners were very helpful and courteous. This place was 10 stars easy. I will definitely go back. My family and friends had such a good time. The house is huge and all the beds were very comfortable. Best place we have ever stayed.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Really quiet part of the beach. Beautiful home that is well kept and clean. Fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Great outdoor areas for relaxing during the day, watching the sunrise or sunset and plenty of cool areas to escape the heat.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at this beautiful home. It was an excellent location to enjoy ships passing or if you like birdwatching you'll see a variety there. The neighborhood is quiet and you have everything you may need to enjoy a peaceful stay. Only minutes away from the beach and there are several restaurant options nearby. We would recommend staying here and appreciate the hosts!

We really enjoyed our beach trip. The house was in a prefect location and had a great view of the water. The little bayou behind the house was cool never caught any big fish but there were some crabs and tiny fish swiming around. We loved everything about this beach house. Would definitely stay here again.

Property looked, felt, and smelled super fresh. Welcoming, comforting. The host - wow - they were available when needed, kind, and responded immediately when we had a question. The check-in/check-out process could not have been easier. Our entire group of seven opinionated adults had not one complaint. We loved it!

This house was wonderful! Owner thought of all the little details. The only thing additional we may have liked was fishing poles on site. The weekend was foggy so we didn’t get to see the ocean from the deck, but could hear it! Pretty bayou view! Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay just wasn't long enough. We have stayed up and down Crystal Beach over the years, however we love the positioning of this home. The surrounding are just different. ❤

If you’re looking for a place to get away from to hustle and bustle this is definitely the place. Enjoy the sunrise each morning with only the noise of the waves and the sea breeze. We had a 14 year old and a 17 year old with us and they loved everyday of it here. We played corn hole that was available by owners, relaxed in the hammocks, and just enjoyed our time outside and inside. Excellent accommodations and a great place to just kick back and relax. We definitely recommend this property for a couple getaway or a whole family getaway.

Ternhaven is an absolutely amazing property! We were fortunate to meet the gracious owners upon arrival. We enjoyed a lovely beach vacation and had our adult children and grandchildren join us for the weekend. We did a good amount of cooking while the kids were with us. We brought some kitchen items from home not knowing what might be available. We did not need to bring anything. The kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful cookware and dishware. The furniture is extremely comfortable. The interior decor is beautiful, the views are breathtaking and the outdoor amenities are perfect! We enjoyed making S’mores with the grandkids at the fire pit, cooking out on the grill, relaxing with a good book on the hammocks and drinking coffee on the back deck while watching the sunrise. This property was everything we had hoped for and then some. Just beautiful! The short drive to the beach was very convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness on Bolivar. We would definitely stay here again.
