About this cottage rental
Located in Ogunquit, this lovely cottage for $250 per night is a great choice for your next break. Welcome to Sandpiper Cottage... walking distance to restaurants and the popular Footbridge Beach. The Cottage is located on Ocean Street, a lovely residential area, less than a five minute walk and you will have sand between your toes! A variety of restaurants are around the corner to satisfy your taste buds! We are steps away from the trolley stop to bring you to all of Ogunquit's wonders... great location for families, couples or a quiet getaway with friends. As new owners of this quaint cottage we have updated the cottage with new furniture, new mattresses and bedding, kitchen essentials and the interior has been freshly painted. Sit out in the enclosed porch with a cup of coffee and a good book, have a drink in the evening by the outdoor fire place or take a nap after a long day at the beach. We have central air for those hot days and an outdoor shower to rinse off all that sand. The cottage also offers Wi-Fi, a variety of books, games and DVD's... beach chairs, lawn games, gas grill and washer/dryer. The first bedroom offers a queen bed with a new memory foam mattress and the second bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds with new mattresses/memory foam toppers. There is a new sofa sleeper as well with an additional memory foam pad. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Renters must provide their own bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels. Bedspreads, kitchen towels, hand towels, and shower mat provided. We are conveniently located just north to downtown Ogunquit, an easy walk or experience a ride on the trolley. Kennebunkport, York (Nubble Lighthouse), and the Kittery outlets are just a short drive away.

Spent weekend with friends. End of October and 82 degrees, pure sun. Went swimming!
Had dinner at Cliff House and breakfast at Greenery Cafe. Great location. Walked to beach.

-another reviewer had mentioned that every thing inside the cottage was intentional and I second that. Everything you needed was there, including chargers, and Alexa to listen to music, extra blanket. Beautiful decorations and cozy little nooks all over the cottage.
-we stayed in the fall and were able to use the fire pit outside and plugged in the lights that created a beautiful ambience… And comfy chairs to sit around the fire. Another night we sat out on the porch and plugged in the little lights and sat around on the chairs chatting.
-Very comfortable beds!
-Great water pressure in the shower!
-all the tools and utensils you would need in the kitchen

What a wonderful property! We loved it! It was the perfect weekend get away and the perfect home. Easy and quick walk to the beach and restaurants. With the work they put into this house, I can say every detail was intentional. The mattress was the most comfortable we have ever slept on at VRBO location which you rarely get in a rental. It is clean, modern and is equipped with everything we needed to cook every meal at the cottage. The nice touch of the Host letting us arrive early. Highly recommend! I absolutely loved the decor. It was everything I would have chosen myself if it were my cottage. We will 100% look to book this property again. Thank you!!!

I had a very positive experience during my stay over the weekend. The house was very clean and within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants. It was noted to bring bedding linens and towels for your stay. The washer and dryer works as well. The one bathroom was tough with a group of 6 but not a deal breaker.

Great little cottage, well arranged and beautifully decorated. Perfect location for all things Ogunquit!! Close to the Kennebunks also. There was nothing we wanted for...comfortable beds and lay out of the cottage is perfect. Close to a vast number of great restaurants...we'll be back!!

This cottage was so cute! Very comfortable, there were 5 of us in our group and it was perfect. Very clean, we walked to the beach our first night and the stars were incredible!

Only a 5-minute or so walk to the beach. A short drive to Kennebunkport or Kittery for shopping expeditions, lots of options for places to eat. For a small house, the walls seemed insulated enough that you didn't hear anyone in the bathroom, or even nighttime toilet flushes. Beds were extremely comfortable.
The driveway is narrow and just long enough for 2 cars -- absolutely no room for a third, so don't try! Don't forget to bring your sheets/towels/pillowcases with you.

Had a great stay here recently with my two sisters. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Excellent location near Footbridge Beach. Plenty of room to spread out with a cute porch and an enclosed, private backyard - both with table and chairs. The cottage was very clean and bright. It was thoughtfully decorated and well laid out to maximize use of interior space. We also appreciated the labelling of drawers so that we could easily find what we needed in the kitchen, coffee area and for the washer. We had one question about on use of the thermostat, and Emily was immediately responsive. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.

The house good location to the beach yet by a restaurant which we didn’t know of. fully stocked kitchen and good outdoor amenities. However the house smelled of smoke ( all our stuff smelled of smoke even when we got home) the floors were so dirty we had to mop them ourselves. and we were told the night before that would have to bring sheets for all the beds. wish we new this earlier because we didn’t have the sizes we needed. I never leave reviews like this but these are things that changes the quality of our trip especially with little kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emily's cottage. Everything was as advertised. The location was within walking distance to the Footbridge and the beach. We could walk next door to various restaurants. The beds were super comfortable. The house was very clean. Thank you Emily, for making our stay in Ogunquit very pleasant!

From the minute I arrived and walked in I felt totally welcomed and at ease. This lovely cottage was exactly as pictured. Emily has put thought into every space. Everything was labelled almost like your thoughts were being read. The outdoor space is charming and relaxing too. Perfect location to walk down to the Footbridge Beach and easy quick access to the Rt 1.
It is the perfect spot to enjoy some leisurely downtime and a wonderful hub to the points of interest in and around Ogunquit.
Emily was easily reachable and responsive. I hope to return for a much longer stay.

This cottage is great. The location, the communication with the owner, the cleanliness, is all top notch.
You'll have every amenity you need, though the tv was a little confusing, there are plenty of stations.
Everything in the cabinets are clearly labeled, nothing is missed.
We highly recommend staying here. Emily is a great host and the cottage was the cleanest one we have stayed in. We will definitely be back!

The property was immaculate and it was very well supplied with all of our needs. It’s a five minute walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. We even made a day trip to Boston which was 90 minute drive. One of my best vacations and homes that I have rented.

Perfect cottage
We needed a place to stay for one night after attending a concert in Boston and Ogunquit is half-way home for us. Sandpiper Cottage was perfect. Adorable, nautical, cottagey decor. We had everything we needed and slept very comfortably. The cottage is close to everything and our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. Emily was very responsive to messages and wonderful to deal with. We want to go back already!

Emily made sure you had everything you needed for your stay, beds were really comfortable, like I mentioned before my granddaughter and I spent a lot of time on the front porch.

A Lovely Stay at Sandpiper Cottage!
We had the most lovely long weekend at Sandpiper Cottage in Ogunquit! The cottage is adorable inside and out. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and well organized. The owners have anticipated your every vacation need and are incredibly kind and responsive. The location was perfect for our family - just a quick walk to beautiful Footbridge Beach! We are already planning a return trip.

Adorable and clean cottage near the beach and downtown Ogunquit
We were very impressed with the property. Sandpiper cottage was well organized, had a very modern, updated feel, but also with a cute beach decor. It was also was laid out really well for the space, with plenty of room for our family of 4. The cottage was overall very clean (and I have high standards with this)…only reason I gave it a 4/5 for cleanliness is the floors did not appear to be well-washed, but they were definitely swept/vacuumed and the counters, kitchen, and bathroom was very clean. The house is only a 5-8 min walk to a beautiful Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit, where there is always beach even at low tide. Despite some cool, rainy weather, we loved being so close to the beach, so we could come and go without paying for parking!! It is also very close to downtown Ogunquit, lots of restaurants, and a grocery store, so super convenient all around. Everything else about the cottage was impeccable and we were very pleased with the experience! We were also very impressed with the owner, Emily’s communication, especially as a new owner. She was right on with information and responded very quickly to any questions. It was a very easy check in and check out process and we hope we can stay again very soon!!
