An adorable property, very clean, comfortable, excellent location, AC is great, the beds are comfy, the kids enjoyed riding bikes around the communal green area. Close to Footbridge Beach. A few things could be improved with more info up front. I recommend sending an email to tenants a few days before with some check in tips such as: 1) deadbolt is tricky, you need to enter the code then turn the deadbolt HARD clockwise. If you don't turn it hard enough the bolt doesn't go in all the way and the door stays locked - took us a while to figure this out and get in! 2) "things you should bring" in addition to linens, you will need bath towels, hand towels, dish towels and beach towels, trash bags (there were none and there was trash left in the trash can when we arrived...with no bag), paper towels, dishwasher tabs (if you want to use the dishwasher), mini coffee filters or k-cups (if you want use their coffee maker), any condiments you need (the fridge will be completely empty when you arrive), cleaning supplies (you are expected to wash the floors before you leave?? Never seen this at a property that charges a cleaning fee) 3)The AC (which is amazing) is off when you arrive so don't be surprised if it is quite warm when you enter - it will cool down quickly. The thermostat can be set to "Permanent Hold" or "Temporary Hold". The temp kept resetting until I found the Perma Hold function. 4) The coffee maker is terrible. The listing says there is kuerig and a "traditional carafe". There is no traditional 12-cup coffee maker. There is a one cup k-cup machine that, supposedly, can convert to a brew ground coffee. We had 3 adults who start each day with 2 -3 cups and this thing would not work right AT ALL. I'll save you the gory details but it was quite the comedy of errors. We were ready to toss the thing and just buy a new one for them. If you need coffee BRING YOUR OWN POT or buy cold brew! 5) Never did figure out how to get the TV in the sunroom to work. There is a binder in the house with instructions on cleaning, parking and garbage; instructions on things like working the TV and thermostat would be helpful. We spent a lot of time figuring out the "quirks", but the hosts were responsive and helpful. I would stay here again...and bring my own coffee pot :)

Very clean, modern cottage on the north end of Ogunquit. We were scheduled to arrive about the same time as hurricane Lee. Lisa was very accommodating and accessible about working around the storm.

My aunt, cousins and I had a fabulous stay at The Salt Life. The place was exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable with beach cottage vibes. The owners were lovely and super responsive - even when I locked us out of the house! Lisa couldn’t have been nicer or faster to reply and take care of it. Very grateful for such a lovely few days. Thank you! We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful vacation in Ogunquit. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. There were 5 adults + a 14 month old baby. We were able to walk to Footbridge Beach. The owner answered all my questions and provided us with a wonderful family vacation that we will always remember.

Our family stayed at "The Salt Life" for a week to enjoy Ogunquit and the surrounding area. It managed to fit our family (kids and adults) really well despite being small. It was clean and comfy, and you can't beat the location! We explored Ogunquit, York, Kennebunkport, Wells, and Portland from the cottage. Having the large yard for the condo association nearby was great for games. One note is that The Footbridge beach is walkable, but it might be a bit far for some little kids as it involves crossing a larger road. Definitely easy to walk downtown from the house, though! Overall, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Ogunquit!
