Located in Pennsylvania, this attractive house for $375 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Large ranch home on 53 acres in the Endless Mountains. This 5-bedroom home has 2 bathrooms, a fabulous sunroom, wood fireplace, huge game room, 2 family rooms, dining table for 10, and a spacious deck overlooking the pond. Relax and unwind, swim or fish in the pond, take a snooze on the hammock or walk the trails through the woods and enjoy nature. Visit the local farms, wineries and antique stores. 50-minute drive to Elk Mountain for skiing, 35 minutes to golf course. Lots to do in the area or just enjoy the family at the house. Plenty of games and puzzles. Game room has pool table, shuffleboard, foosball and dartboard. Pet-friendly.

As you enter through the kitchen door, you feel the wonderful, warm welcome your hosts, Cindy and Tom, have carefully and thoughtfully prepared for your family's vacation stay. There is a large dining area, a sun porch with views of field, forest and pond, and a living room with an enormous couch saying, "Come, relax, sit by the fire, watch a movie or a game on TV.". There are crafts, artifacts, and paintings hinting who the owners might be and sharing their humor and interests.
The three bedrooms up and three bedrooms down offer comfortable beds and each room is uniquely decorated. Large closets and chests of drawers suggest, "Welcome, stay a while." The hall bathroom with washer and dryer stores plenty of thick, thirsty towels and wash cloths.
Everyone's favorite spot was the game rooms downstairs with a pool table, shuffle board, foosball, chess board and huge Connect game. Upstairs was a closet full of board games. During our three late December days of rainy winter weather, there were many choices of enjoyable ways to spend our time together.
When there were breaks in the rain, there were three wooded trails to explore. Just a few miles down the road was Elk Lake High School's track where our grand daughter stayed in shape for her indoor track season. We loved the rustic, very still and peaceful location in the 53 acres of beautiful countryside. ***** For sure!

My family and a few friends spent five days at Christmas at Spruce Haven. Cindy had a decorated tree for us, which added a nice touch. The living area is spacious, and the game room is amazing. We enjoyed lots of pool and darts. The fireplace added a cozy feel. A highlight were the hiking trails on the property. We'd love to return.

Cindy’s property was beautiful and there was something for everyone to do! Our family of 8 adults, a 6 mos old granddaughter, and small dog really had a blast making many new memories! We enjoyed walking on the paths through woods, playing games in the game room, and having some time around the bonfire. Cindy was very responsive to my questions. She even had some local treats for us to enjoy! I highly recommend Spruce Creek!😃

The whole family, including our dogs, had a wonderful vacation. Enjoyed the trails, the quietness, the game room, the fireplace, etc. Our weather was not the best, but that did not matter, still enjoyed our stay. Loved the house and the area. Definite do again. Thank you for the lovely locally made gifts, very nice touch!!

Our family went for a wedding in the area and wanted to stay together. The house was beautiful and has plenty of indoor and outdoor things to do. The walking trails were really nice. It rained most of the time so we played indoor games between wedding stuff. Loved sitting on the enclosed porch. The hosts were wonderful and we are already talking about going back. Hope we can do it soon.

Great place to stay. This property is very accurately represented by the photos in the listing. Tidy, clean, well organized. Beds were even comfortable! If I had to formulate a complaint, it's that the billiards table didn't miraculously transform me into a pool shark. However, I'm still a pretty mean foosball player.

The vacation home was absolutely amazing. The home was very clean and cozy and comfortable. Plenty of beautiful space especially with the downstairs suite with the variety of games tables and two very comfortable bedrooms. We all basically stayed at the home for our entire stay because it was so relaxing with the pond, fire pit, covered porch, hiking the trails etc… I could go on and on. Our 5 year old grandson caught 86 fish!! Honestly 86 FISH!!! He won the family fish trophy that has now become a new family tradition lol. The guys did go to the River one day to do some night fishing which was within 10 min of the home. Great stories to tell there too! Total relaxation for us all. We honestly didn’t want to leave and highly recommend this home for beautiful family bonding and memories.. we loved it!

Could not be any happier with our stay here. There was plenty of space for our family of 10. The house was clean and so well stocked. There was so much to do without even leaving the property. Fishing, hiking, and campfires when the weather was nice, and on the rainy days the game room downstairs was perfect! The covered porch and sun room were great so you could still appreciate nature when the weather was bad. Cindy made sure everything was perfect for us! Thank you so much!

My family and I had the best time here. There is so much to do. They had everything! Yard games, a golf hole with golfing equipment, floats, and fishing equipment. The fishing on the pond was amazing. We caught at least 100 fish. The kids had so much fun fishing. The house was clean and had everything you need. The air conditioning was super cold especially in the basement which has 2 bedrooms. The game room in the basement was fun. The sunroom was nice to sit in. The flat top grill was so fun to cook on and when we ran out of propane Cindy Venmoed me for a refill. We could not have had a better time. Thank you Cindy. We highly recommend your property.

We decided this year to give our children a weekend family getaway as a Christmas gift. So we had to find a space with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms that was also pet friendly as one of our sons has a boxers wanted to bring. Spruce Haven met all the requirements! The property has so much to do! They were plenty of indoor activities as well as a great outdoors area!!! Our weekend was awesome. Cindy and Tom were great answering all of questions very quickly. Check in was easy and they even had the house cooled when we arrived (it was 80 degrees outside and nice and cool inside!). The bedrooms all has comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything we needed and a blackstone griddle to use as well!
This place was perfect for our group - six adults and two children under the age of four.
Thanks for allowing us to create such great memories of what we hope will become an annual event for us!

My family and I stayed for Memorial Day weekend, and we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and exactly as described. We had incredible weather and enjoyed every moment outside. Did some fishing, played cornhole, lawn bocce, hit some golf balls, enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and even had a nice bonfire in the evening.
Cell service is pretty non-existent, and although the home has Wi-Fi, we weren't able to get through, but we actually really enjoyed being unplugged for a couple of days.
The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and was super clean. Communication with Cindy was impeccable. My parents accidentally left behind a pair of sunglasses and a mirror and Cindy was kind enough to send them back to us.
You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Spruce Haven was a PERFECT spot for us. We were in town for a wedding and had the groom's 93 year old grandmother with us. We were looking for a home that would be easy for her to navigate on one floor and still have room and privacy for the other adults and it was perfect. Plenty of room, fun activities in the basement, lots of property to explore and plenty of places to sit..relax..and enjoy the quiet! The enclosed porch was one of our favorite spots to sit and watch the birds and deer. I was so glad that we added days to the weekend and made it a mini vacation.
Check in and out was easy, and communication with Cindy was great. I would give ten stars if I could!!

We enjoyed our stay at Spruce Haven! Lovely property with great accommodations. It was perfect for our family holiday getaway. In the evening we enjoyed watching Christmas movies by the fire/fireplace. We are contemplating staying again in the warmer months.

Pretty isolated from neighbors and city. Overall a pretty comfortable stay. Just be careful with ticks as we did go hiking in the trails they have on the back and it is forest.

This was a great place to enjoy time together. Having 3 teens and 2 preteens, the game room was great. We enjoyed the trails and fishing in the pond. Would highly recommend this place to relax and enjoy nature.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was so beautiful and relaxing. The trails were great to walk. We were able to fish. (It’s all small mouth bass and perch, so be prepared for that) My adult children chipped some golf balls. Loved the game room. Nimble Hill winery is the best and we found some really good wine, cider and beer! Internet is a bit spotty. But if you truly want to unplug this is the place! Loved it. Wish I would have booked a longer stay.

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing week in the Poconos at the end of the summer. We could not have found a more perfect home than this one. The home is beautifully appointed and the owners have definately thought of everything to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. There are even two beautiful walking trails on this 50-acre property that are well blazed and delightful. We walked them everyday we were there. Sitting on the porch and looking out on the pond, building a campfire and cooking dinner and s'mores over the flames, pulling up two of the Adirondack chairs into the middle of the field at night to look up at all of the stars...we just loved everything about our stay here. I am glad to give this property my highest recommendation.

The trails are fantastic. It was awesome taking the dogs on walks. The trails are wll-kept. We saw deer and rabbits almost every day. Bring a fishing pole, we caught some big bass. Wi-Fi wasn't great, but it forced me not to work while on vacation - so it was a blessing. I would come back again for sure.

A very nice property with plenty of room inside and out. We had a family of 11 stay for a week. It’s a great place to disconnect. Limited traffic on the road; deer, turkeys, rabbits abound; decent trails around the property; and plenty of games for the family. Simple decor that can handle an active family. Attractions are within an hour or so. Groceries a within a half hour.

We had a wonderful time and its a lovely house. There was 10 of us in the house for 4 days and we all stayed comfortably. I loved the outdoors area the most and the kids really enjoyed the games that comes with the house. there was plenty of Amenities and the house came equipped with everything. All you need to pack is your clothes and the food.

Family getaway to remember
Dear Cindy, Your home and property is everything one could dream of for a vacation filled with fun and relaxation. Being a large family of adult children and grand babies, there was plenty of rooms and comfortable beds for all to rest well. The kitchen and outside grilling provided every amenity necessary for preparing memorable delicious meals we shared. Everyone had multiple actives to enjoy. The indoor shuffle board, foosball, and large family room television set the stage for kids of all ages, and the beautiful outdoor experience of country feeling involving fishing, horseshoes, bird watching, and simply listening to the calm of the trees and sounds of summer! As night time fell the awesome fire pit provided the gathering of story telling and memories of family times past...We cannot thank you enough, especially since Covid, for the safety we felt related to the cleanliness your home provided. We wish you well and look forward to more happy times at you home with our family.

Gorgeous Property
12 friends enjoyed this beautiful property. We actually were so impressed that we are planning on doing this every year at the same house. Everything you need is on the property no reason to leave. Wanna fish excellent enjoy the pond, wanna Golf excellent more then enough room to chip balls Wanna hike even better walk down one of the paths on the sprawling 52 acres. We had an absolute blast playing cornhole and frisbee and the Horseshoes the hosts(Cindy &Tom) left out for us to use was a great added game that we forgot to bring. The blackstone grill on the back deck made all of our meals the whole 3 days we stayed there. The Shuffleboard foosball and dart board were excellent nighttime games in the very spacious basement that walks right out to the fire pit. I couldn’t of asked for a nicer house in a better location. We will be seeing you next year same spot same time. Thanks from all of us for renting out the perfect home for a perfect weekend.
