The cottage was lovely, very convenient for the harbour and the town. It was a bonus to get a welcome pack on arrival. Everything was clean and clearly laid out.
Being really picky, and this didn’t spoil our time. There were not enough towels -5 instead of 6 and there could be a mirror in the smaller bathroom.

We’ve been 3 or 4 times now we must like it.
We didn’t like the first full day there when the fire alarm went off about 9.30am and it was still going at 6pm,
The neighbour was great with contacting the owner for us but a slow response to a big problem, you couldn’t go in the house for the piercing noise.
Probably a one off and could happen anywhere.

Beds were very comfortable. The log burner was so nice to light at night. Loved having a washer and dishwasher. Loads of space. The bowls and towels left for the dog were super helpful.
The cleaner has let you down. It felt grotty and in need of a deep clean. Cobwebs and dust especially on the ceiling and skirtings. The rug in the front rooms need a wash to remove the doggy smells. The kitchen cupboards have the strongest damp and musty smell I’ve ever experienced. We had to wash all cups, plates and cutlery. The house needs a a serious air.
