Lots of little things to make it memorable: personalized greeting card and treat bag left for us, stocked coffee/cocoa bar, record player with good selection of music (including a Christmas album), shuffleboard table and numerous table games to choose from.
The house was the perfect size for our family of 6, with an inviting, open-air layout. The bathrooms and kitchen were thoughtfully filled with everything we left at home. There was a propane grill near the patio with string lights for relaxing evening dinners. It truly felt like a home away from home!
Google Maps gave us directions to the alley entrance rather than the main driveway, a minor inconvenience.
The dishwasher didn't seem to work. After 3 loads with poor results, I chose to handwash instead. I would guess that it's broken, and also the reason why a lot of the supplied dishes were dirty when we arrived. Fix this issue and we would definitely stay at this location again.
