An immaculate small hotel in a wonderful location. The owners were very friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions about where to eat and things to do. The recently restored MotoGuzzi factory and museum were a short walk away and well worth a visit. Unfortunately we could only stay one night and had to leave early the next morning to catch our flight, but we could have easily spent a few days there.

A short walk from Mandello Del Lario station (~6 mins). Beautiful room with everything you need for a short stay around the lake. Absolutely lovely owner and very understanding when our trains and flights were delayed, allowing us to self check-in! Stayed around the lake before but this is definitely up there with the best ones!

The location of Picobello Lago is wonderful, based in the quaint town of Madello Del Lairo. It is close enough to walk to swimming spots, restaurants and transport links.
The host sent us through a wide variety of recommendations and couldn’t have been more accommodating. She was very knowledgable on the area and was always available to contact with any queries or concerns.
The property was very clean and modern. Our room also had a stunning view of the mountains, and all of the windows had bug nets so that the windows could be left open at night for extra fresh air.
