The fenced in yard was wonderful for our dogs. A close walk to the beach and beautiful weather made it a great vacation. The only negative were the floors were super sandy when we arrived. Ever Forward

Cute and spacious beach home with awesome backyard. The property was in a great neighborhood and 1 block from the beach. I loved that the owner welcomes doggies. My pups enjoyed that awesome yard. Quiet and very pretty neighborhood. The house is a bit dated but it had everything you needed. We all thought the cleaning crew could have done a better job of cleaning, especially the floors. To feel more comfortable, we had to wash all the dishes, pots and utensils before using it since it seemed like all the pots were very dusty. This could be from lack of use so they could have accumulated dust. The other draw back was the owner sent a handy man to replace the porch/deck doors while we were there which I thought was odd since we were paying to rent the house and have privacy. The owner, nor the property management company told us this work was being done while we were there. The guy just showed up to do the work, we were all still sleeping and then we lost half a day at the house until he was done. The reason we stayed while he did the work was because the pups were very agitated while all the banging was going on. The handyman was obviously embarrassed to be there while we rented the house but he said the owner told him to go do the job. He asked me if anyone had notified us that he would be there and I told him I had no idea any work would be going on while we rented the home. He apologized for being there but i didn't make a big deal since we are very easy going. I have a rental home of my own and i wouldn't impose on anyone like that unless it was an absolute emergency. Honestly, overall I would be ok staying there again. Nothing that happened was so horrific that we couldn't deal with it. It is a nice property and location and if you have pups, they are going to love the yard. I will definitely be going back again. Loved the Outerbanks.
