We loved the high quality of the furniture and fittings: beautiful wooden floors; modern up market kitchen; comfortable seating and beds. We slept well. The property is close to lots of cafes and restaurants and within easy walking distance of Brighton and Hove. We walked to the Brighton Pavilion area within half an hour, and also used the frequent buses. The closest bus stop was just at the end of the road, probably no more than 100 yards away.
There are four flights of stairs, not ideal for us in our 60s/70s, but we knew that in advance. Actually the stairs were easier than we had anticipated, as they were well designed, wide enough and non-slippy. Some of the blinds were damaged, but not so you couldn’t use them.

Amazing location, gorgeous property, lovely garden and roof terrace. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay, including pods for the coffee machine (nice touch). Comfy beds, plenty of space.

Kitchen was nice , bathrooms on most floors, location was good . Good WiFi. Lots of towels. Beds were comfortable.
Weeds growing up the front window and front entrance was shabby. Patio was overgrown and poorly maintained. Patio steps were rotting to the point of being dangerous. Front and rear elevation looking tired and all of the windows were very dirty. The interior blinds in a couple of the bedrooms were broken and the interior generally is beginning to look tired/worn throughout. The pop up waste in the middle bathroom didn’t work and the microwave facia was broken. We were there for a wedding, which entailed clothes to be hung up and there are no tall wardrobes and very little hanging space or storage . None of this is in keeping with “luxury”.
