Lovely little cottage & well equipped. We had amazing weather so used the outside space a lot as well as inside - both were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay & it was a great base to explore Suffolk.
Nothing really, but after I booked it I read about the steep stairs & also realised that the bathroom was downstairs - wasn’t sure how elderly relation with us would cope but luckily it was all fine as she’s a sprightly 90 year old, but worth keeping in mind when booking.
Think the little outside table & outdoor cushions could do with updating as they were a bit tired.

Excellent location for walking. Although the house is on a busy road it's very quiet inside.
The staircase is very steep which isn't mentioned in the Booking.com description (but it's pointed out in some reviews on other sites). It wasn't a real issue for us but more elderly/less mobile guests would have a serious problem.

Great location, close to Covehithe beach and Southwold etc. Good facilities in the village, cafe, pub, Chinese and well stocked shop. Well appointed cottage with dishwasher, washing machine, airfryer etc.
Parking is off road but quite tight to load and unload car, stairs are extremely steep and narrow so couldn't get my suitcase upstairs. Only toilet is downstairs and at the back of the house.

Incredibly noisy as property was on the junction of a very busy A12 … with bedroom window opened untenable noisy and extremely hot…. Not good if a light sleeper

When it was it wasn’t very effective
Shower was boiling hot so we couldn’t shower for 2 days … still needs fixing
