Great quiet location with plenty of space for everyone. Loved having a fireplace!
Had an issue with the hot water one morning but the property manager sorted it ASAP so it didn't end up being a issue

It's a great location
We are generally not fussy guests, but when travelling with children, we do expect basic amenities, safety and maintenance to be taken care of.
Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. The ensuite had no extraction fan, toilet spray or bath plug, making it difficult to bathe the children. There was also no hairdryer. We were told the previous one had disappeared and a replacement would arrive in two weeks — not much help for current guests.
The long bench at the dining table also felt unstable. We discovered it was missing a support underneath and had a significant crack through the seat, which was concerning with young children around.
The kitchen sink plug then shattered, and the dishwasher had no rinse aid. An empty rinse-aid bottle was left in the cupboard, which was of little use.
The front door handle literally pulls out of the lock mechanism which made it very difficult to open and close, especially when hands are full!
We tried to send photos of these issues but were unable to do so through the messaging system. Despite asking for an alternative way to send them, none was provided.
The property itself has some lovely features, but the number of basic maintenance and amenity issues was disappointing. We hope the owners/managers take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding safety and ensuring the property is properly equipped before guests arrive.
