Nestled in Faubourg Marigny, this lovely bed and breakfast for $169 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Summary: Concrete floors and minimalist interiors afford impeccable cleanliness and a sense of calm. Our rooms and amenities are designed to set a backdrop for a life of adventure and inspiration, without the clutter of everyday existence. From the lush gardens in the corridor to the custom-made furniture, the design and amenities at Claudia have been thoughtfully considered in an effort to make your stay restful, enjoyable, and reflective of the spirit of New Orleans. The Space: Built in 1953 by well known New Orleans architects Wess and Silverstein, the property has been transformed to a 5 Suite, 15 room bungalow- tucked behind brick walls and set amidst a lush garden courtyard. This unit is 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms Located at the front of the building is Cypress Cakes, a bakeshop that features local and seasonal ingredients. Making all products from scratch on site, they offer specialty cakes by the slice, muffins, cookies, pies, morning pastries and more, as well as espresso and coffee from local roaster, Mojo Coffee Roasters. Fully custom cakes are also available for order ahead, perfect any occasion big or small. At night, it is transformed into Cypress Lounge, a nod to South Louisiana, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From a cold simple beer to a fine classic cocktail, there's no pretense here, they offer coffee products as well and variety of non alcoholic beverages and a variety of sweet treats for a late night snack. ( Bakery open Thursday - Sunday 8am-3pm // Lounge open Thursday - Sunday 7pm-1am) Guest Access: Keyless entry. Code sent at check-in. The Neighborhood: Claudia is located on St. Claude Avenue , a few blocks from Frenchmen Street, in the heart of one of New Orleans’ favorite neighborhoods. In addition to being a unique place to sleep, Claudia serves as a gathering place and occasional hub of community activity for locals and visitors alike. Other Things to Note: - There is a 3% charge on bookings made through home away & our website to cover payment processing fees that cannot be returned in the event a cancellation is necessary. - Our property is located directly next to a residential neighborhood. We are required to enforce the city’s noise ordinance which does not permit excessive noise outside after 10PM. - We cannot accommodate bachelorette/ bachelor parties or anything similar. No Parties, Events, Smoking or Pets. Cannot invite guests to the property that are not part of the booking reservation. - Check-In time is 3:00 PM and Check Out-Time is 11:00 AM. - Pricing fluctuates daily. License #: 2117230

Very unique and comfortable stay. Everything you needed was provided. Beds were comfortable a “feather couch”- that was a first for me. Quaint courtyard to sit and have coffee. Redesigned in an older building is what made it unique. Great stay for 4 days.

We had a great stay. Clean and quiet condo. Communication was amazing when we had a few questions. About a 10-15 min walk to the French quarter. Also easy to get an Uber/Lyft. Definitely recommend.

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk to french quarter. Clean and well stocked property. 2 blocks from a walgreen or starbucks for quick essentials.

The place was great. Very comfortable and clean, with a nice small courtyard to relax in the evenings. The place is close enough to Frenchmen and the quarter and walking during the day was great. Lots of neat places nearby. At night we did take an Uber, even for short trips. Better safe than sorry. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great, great communication, place was clean, they even supplied shampoo conditioner and body soap. Comes with pans, cups plates, full fridge. One downside, which is not there fault, the Islamic center attached to other side of building is rude. Parking is limiting and when trying to park they would yell at me because they don’t know how to pull out of there driveway. Another downside is you can hear everything from connecting neighbor apartments, however, when I sent a message to owner they replied immediately and solved the issue. There is also white noise maker in the bedrooms that help as well!

Loved the simplicity of Craig's place. He was easy to communicate with. Walking distance to French Quarter. Would stay again.

Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Very nice aesthetics which made the stay enjoyable. The location is in quick access to Frenchman St and the French Quarter but guests should be watchful and avoid walking at night. Host is very communicative and helpful.

The apartment is as pictured, attractive & comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms plus washer/dryer was really nice. Some noise from the cab lot next door but not bad. Good bakery in front. Edge of the Marigny location is ~10 minute walk to the French Quarter. Super responsive management. We’ll be back!

Location is right on the edge of everything. Easy to walk to French Quarter and to Frenchmen Street (great music clubs). Accommodation is clean, beds comfortable, adequate kitchen supplies ( though we ate out every day) and is attached to a great coffee/pastry shop). Perfect for what we wanted.
