Situated in Faubourg Marigny, this charming bed and breakfast for $165 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to our Family Home B&B located just 3 blocks from the Historic French Quarter. We appreciate your considering our place to enjoy the city. CHECK-IN: 3 PM*; CHECK-OUT: 11 AM *Because we both have other jobs, we ask that renters be conscientious of our checking in/out times when booking flights or driving in. FULLY VACCINATED + DOUBLE BOOSTED, we do greet you on arrival, spend some time with you, and offer suggestions on things to do, places to eat, etc. We live on the other side of the rental. ADULT ONLY (Gay Owned, Straight Friendly) Located just three short blocks from the French Quarter on Pauger Street, this Creole cottage, built in 1829 has a total of four SPACIOUS rooms. A feature of Creole cottages is that there are NO HALLWAYS, and all rooms are connected. Street parking is available but we cannot always guarantee it. The first room (aka 1st bedroom) features a queen-size sofa sleeper (with freshly ironed linens) which provides extra sleeping space (when needed). The original 193 year old long leaf pine floors have been refinished to add to the beauty of the place. There are 2 reading/conversation areas, and a plush rug. AC/Heating unit will keep the room cozy all year round. The second room is the large bedroom with a TALL king-size bed (ironed sheets and pillow cases), armoire, bedside tables, cable TV, bedside rugs and the same beautiful flooring. The third room has a round dining table/chairs, and a desk. The stairs, although inviting, lead up to storage for the rental and is for owners only. NOTE: NO GUESTS ARE ALLOWED TO STAY OVERNIGHT WITHOUT PAYMENT. The kitchen is a bright green color to "wake you up" in the morning. Small appliances (toaster/oven, microwave and coffeemaker) are furnished along with coffee and tea. A gas range has been installed. The full-size stainless steel refrigerator has an icemaker. The 1950's kitchen sink has built-in drain boards and has been stripped down to the original finish. The bathroom features tile floor, bamboo wainscoting, and a tiled shower. Toiletries and towels, makeup pads and small sewing kits, along with bathrobes, will be provided. A hair dryer is part of those amenities. Outside the kitchen is a private courtyard with tropical plants, table and chairs, and a large private CLOTHING OPTIONAL hot tub. THE TUB IS FOR PAYING GUESTS ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Being part of our home, this SMOKE FREE/CANDLE FREE rental unit is ADULT ONLY (Gay Owned, Straight Friendly). ALL PERSONS MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER. SORRY, WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN. We were here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The location is a short walk to both Frenchman Street and the French Quarter. Ron and Mark were excellent hosts, greeting us upon arrival and providing recommendations on places to visit and eat. They were also quick to respond to any questions we had. The accommodations were perfect with every amenity that we could want. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to NOLA.

Ron and Mark bring the charm and hospitality you would expect when visiting close family. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within footsteps of music, shopping and food. What a comfortable place to come back to after a long day out in the city. The hot tub was such an added bonus to wind down each evening. We truly enjoyed getting to spend some time with Ron and Mark before we left and can’t wait to come back and stay with them again.

This place is great! Location, decor, hosts…all of it! Ron is by far the kindest host we’ve met. We were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted. Tons of shops, restaurants/bars, and grocery store close by.
A must stay if coming to NOLA.

This was our third stay with Ron and Mark and always it was fantastic. Their home is beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. Ron is an amazing host and very quick to respond. We enjoyed a wonderful week of “living like a local” thanks to him and Mark.

This was our first visit to the City. Ron was very welcoming and accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable and went through all the needed information and recommendations even though our flight was delayed and we didn't get in until late. The private backyard and hot tub was very relaxing. It was nice having a full kitchen and laundry available and a nice grocery within a few blocks. The neighborhood was close to everything we wanted to visit and easily walkable. I'd highly recommend.

My friend and I had a very comfortable stay in Ron’s property. It’s in a great location - close to the action in the French Quarter while being in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was a added bonus.

Ron was a fabulous host; greeted us upon arrival with impeccable Southern hospitality. This gem of a home is beautifully appointed and well furnished without being fussy. Kitchen had all the basics. Hottub and very private oasis was a luxurious bonus. The neighborhood is perfectly located - close to the action but tucked away in a quiet, safe area. The Host are simply amazing. Location is incredible and in walking distance to everything if you are a walker.. Hot tub was the icying on the cake.This was literally our home away from home. If you are looking for a rental that is convenient yet quite and away from the noise of the city. This is the place for you!!!

We loved our stay with Ron & Marc - so considerate & kind. Upon arrival Ron greeted us and gave us an informative tour and very useful dining suggestions. The property itself is immaculate and charming. Bed is comfy with wonderful linens and good pillows. When the coffeemaker went on the Fritz, Ron was there hours later with a new one! I can’t say enough about this property - we’ll be back. Convenient to the Quarter, Frenchmen’s St. and groceries, bakeries, coffee shops all within walking distance.

Ron and Mark were amazing hosts - very hands on and communicative throughout our stay. The place was very clean and adorable and met our needs 100%. It was super hot when we were there and the AC really held up as well. The neighborhood is pretty safe and walkable to both Frenchman St and the French Quarter. Highly recommend!!

This was a Bestie trip and our first time to New Orleans. We were able to check in a little earlier upon arrival. We were greeted by Ron who sat down with us, told us about the history of the cottage, and went over a map with places to go and not to go. First of all, the cottage is beautiful. You felt at home the second you walked through the door. Ron and Mark were both amazing hosts. We enjoyed spending some time with them, they are both simply wonderful! The cottage is in a great location, close enough to walk to great restaurants and shops, and far enough to not hear the craziness of Bourbon St.
We only used our rental car a couple times, and each time Ron put cones out to save our parking spot. We always felt safe knowing we had Ron & Mark next door.
It was hotter than we expected it to be during the day, so we only used the hot tub once, but it was great! It was nice to come “home” and completely relax! It was nice having Ron & Mark see us off at the end of our trip. Our first trip to New Orleans was made all that more special because of Ron & Mark’s warmth, kindness, and genuineness! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! Everything was perfect!!

The property & place are not only charming and beautiful but set in an ideal location. We really enjoyed hearing about its history from Ron who was there to greet us ( also uber-nice). Very close to Frenchman St and Bourbon St.
The Rampart trolley line was not running due to damage at the tracks when the Hard Rock hotel collapsed a couple of years ago. We just took the bus when we went to Canal St.
The bed is very comfortable!
They have spice blend, salt, pepper, oil (basics needed for cooking). Robert's Fresh Market is 0.3 miles away and is a very good grocery store. The store has a good selection of wine, beer, and spirits along with a wonderful hot food bar and salad bar.
The house was perfect for us and we loved the hot tub! The owners live right next door and are quick to respond. We only wish they had a TV in the front sitting room, instead of a mirror over the fake fireplace. There is a TV in the bedroom, but we like to chill once in awhile and catch a little TV while sitting on a couch. Other than that, the place is perfect!

My friend and I stayed at Ron’s place as an early 30th birthday celebration the weekend after Mardi Gras. The location is quiet but a short walk to Frenchman St that has plenty of live music, an art bazaar, bars, etc and you are about 15 min walk from the French quarter night life. Ron’s place is very clean and has everything you need for your stay including the comfiest bed and hot tub to relax in after walking around NOLA all day. Ron greets you and provides you with history and recommendations for food - much appreciated! Highly recommend staying here if you are a couple or a group of 2-3 friends looking to enjoy Nola but want a comfy and quiet place to return to at the end of your day.

This property is in a fantastic location. The king size bed is GREAT as is the hot tub. Lots of New Orleans charm throughout. Ron also went out of his way to help us out with packages that arrived before we did. I highly recommend them as hosts!

This is our new favorite place to stay in Marigny. Hosts were excellent with communication, amenities were great and the location is perfect to walk everywhere. We spent four nights at at Ron and Mark’s place in New Orleans and had an amazing time! Ron met us upon arrival and spent time telling us about the house and it’s history. The house is lovely and very comfortable. The beautiful decor sets the tone and lets you know that you are in a special place. The bed is very comfortable and has a set of steps that I had to use since it’s so tall. The kitchen was well-equipped, as was the bathroom. The hot tub was was the perfect place to end the day after long days of sightseeing. Ron also went over a map of the area and had restaurant suggestions, which was very helpful since this was our first visit to the city. The house was within walking distance of most of the attractions in the area, but far enough out that it was extremely quiet. We would not hesitate to stay there again!
