We have a large fenced yard, firepit, and game room with ping pong, fooseball, and a separate TV area. TVs in each bedroom + pet-friendly! We are also only a 10-15 minute drive to Yaupon Beach in Oak Island! All tvs in the house are Roku Smart TVs, so you can log in to your own subscriptions.

This is definitely a “pet friendly” rental. We did not have any pets with us on this trip. The location and communication with the host was good. The unit could have been cleaner but I addressed this with the host and they were receptive and assured the feedback will be conveyed to the cleaning crew.

One of our favorite places to visit, we had a terrific time in Southport. The property we rented was the perfect location and provided us with all the comfort and amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. We were extremely excited about the fenced in backyard as we had our puppy with us. In fact, the yard was a major reason why we rented this property. Sadly, I suppose a wind storm had passed through recently and as a result, there were lots of limbs and other debris in the yard. We really weren’t able to let our little guy play out there amongst all of it. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable time.

My family including my sister’s family and our parents enjoyed a long weekend during the Winter festivities in Southport. We were so close to everything and enjoyed our stay so much! Would definitely stay again!

This place was awesome! Everyone absolutely loved it. Loved the character of home, including the rolling floors 😉. Quaint, décor beautifully inviting and relaxing. Just say ahhh when you step in the door. Back yard was private and wonderful. Well appointed home and property. Hostess amazing and went out of her way with any questions or requests. If anything could improve it would be perhaps bathroom tile grout. Appears stained or not cleaned thoroughly. Master bedroom duvet cover stained or not washed previously. Also the duvet cover on my daughters bed not properly attached and somehow became completely entwined around her body and neck. Funny now, but could be problem with younger children. She does move a lot during sleep but again it could be dangerous for young children. I won’t use duvet covers for this reason. These things are minor. Overall, would definitely rebook in future. Close to shops, restaurants etc. Loved Southport! Friendly, welcoming and perfect. Steps would be hard for anyone with foot, leg, balance, hip or back issues.

Perfect house for a girls weekend or family trip to Southport. So much to do nearby, you’ll definitely stay busy! Very spacious home. We didn’t take advantage of the back yard or the fire pit but it’s definitely a nice feature! Things are walkable during the day (10-20 min walk), but at night there’s no sidewalks or street lights. Would definitely stay here again!

This home is perfect - close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Beautiful back yard with seating and fire pit. My teenagers loved the game room - played ping-pong for hours!

We loved our stay! Four ladies, age 50 to 65… Great location. We walked into town every day! Room for all of us to spread out! Definitely loved having coffee on the balcony! Can’t wait to come back again!!

What a great place in Southport! House was great! Loved the ‘wonky fun flooring’ System😉 Location was walkable to downtown area, spring areas worked great for us, had multiple family members gathering for destination wedding. Beds were nice, lovely decor… had everything we needed! Would absolutely stay here again!

House was great, plenty of space for our crew and easy walking distance to historic downtown. Everything was as expected from the listing. Our only feedback is that the lawn was overgrown and very buggy. This made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

We enjoyed the home and location. A short walk to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and everyone we met was friendly. Great location to ride our bikes or walk to local parks for tennis or let the children enjoy the playgrounds. The fenced in backyard was a definite bonus for the children and dogs to run and play. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed.

Nice location and stocked well with essentials. Disappointed with access to tv options…couldn’t watch any local channels and limited with access through the rental. Sloping floors added a little fun to the experience. Overall, nice place if you want close to downtown southport.

This property was perfect for a family of 9 (3 couples and 3 young kids). Very clean, well equipped home. The play room was great for kids and parents. Close proximity to the downtown area and restaurants. The decorated Christmas tree was a nice surprise! The welcome package and area information also well received. Great host!

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a few days in October. It's a great location but probably not really walking distance to town. But the drive was short. The fenced-in backyard was great. Fence looked new and was secure, and there was a lovely firepit and picnic tables. We didn't really use the gameroom. The upstairs was clean and well stocked. The King bed was super comfortable! And access to the backyard from that room was very convenient for morning dog potty trips. The house has settled and there's a noticeable slant to the floors. It's a bit disconcerting to walk on but paperwork in the home from engineers assured it was safe and sound. The floors bothered me somewhat (the perception), but probably wouldn't bother most people. Property owners were prompt with messages and great to work with and had left us a bottle of wine, sweets, and coffee as a welcome package. Overall a very good experience.

Great location for a Family vacation. Property was as shown online and everyone had a great time. Plenty of room for the whole family. Would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit the North Carolina coast.
