Zauberhafter Ort mit wundervollem Einkaufsladen (hat alles was man braucht, ich finde nicht, dass man in Inverness einkaufen muss - Zur Not auch in Lochinver)
Unglaubliche Ruhe, die Tiere kommen direkt in den Garten.
Der Weg dorthin ist einzigartig, single Road at its finest.
Neutraler Hinweis: man muss die Straße folgen bis man einmal in Kreis gefahren das Schild für das Haus sieht. Ist nicht sofort ersichtlich.
Das Wohnzimmer ist klein (zu 6 wäre meines Erachtens kein Aufenthalt möglich, dass alle einen Platz finden). Ich verstehe das Konzept nicht, warum es keinen Esstisch gibt. Die Klappstühle und Einrichtung mit dem Tisch vom Vorraum war zu 3 sagen wir mal in Ordnung.

Perfect location and very cosy
TV did not work and even if it did it would have been unlikely that we would have been able to watch netflix on it as it was very dated. We were told that the tv had been hit by lightening. Hopefully this is replaced for the next guests. It would have been a nightmare if the weather were bad during our stay as we have children.

Despite the remoteness of the area the phone and internet access is very good. Fantastic view out to the Assynt mountains. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Quiet location. Kitchen well stocked with all items need to prepare food
For hot water, apart from a short lived electrical booster, you have make up a log fire to heat a back boiler. They provide instructions! Access to the accommodation is either from two very long single track roads, then up another narrower road, then a short windy track up the gated house. The SatNav took us via the shortest route (from the A894). Avoid unless you want to end up a weeping wreck. It's a nightmare journey of blind summits, switchbacks and severe hills made worse if you're driving into a low sun. The other and recommended route is from the Lochinver end which is longer but much better though you still need to be careful. TBH if you want somewhere as a base to travel around that whole area it's very remote and a long way to get anywhere. If you want to get there, stay there and enjoy the peace and quiet and wildlife and avoid the scourge of the camper vans it's perfect!
