Situated in Newburyport, this charming condo for $585 per night is a great option for your next trip. Get to know Plum Island with your own PRIVATE BEACH area! Welcome to our beach home. We can't wait for you to fall in love with this location during your visit to Plum Island in Newbury, MA. Stays are booked Saturday to Saturday, in 7 day increments. We are on the beach with miles of oceanfront to explore in either direction. You will also find all the plum island bars, restaurants, and stores within minutes of walking! Perfect for families, small groups, friends, or special occasions. Location, location, location! The inside of the home is 2,524 sq ft. We are located just a 7 minute drive from shopping, restaurants, and activities in downtown Newburyport. Salisbury and Salisbury Beach are approximately a 15 minute drive. The house is right on the beach with a great view of the ocean, lots of natural light inside, calming sounds of the waves breaking on the beach, private beach access, and island restaurants and stores all within 2-15 minutes walking distance! This includes Plum Island Grille, Plum Island Kitchen, Plum Island Beach Coma, Plum Island Provisions, and The Cottage. We hope that you love it so much you will come back every summer. To set expectations appropriately; the unit itself is not new construction (built in the 80s) nor is it ultra-modern inside. It definitely takes a beating from the weather every offseason with storms and shifting sands, but we try to diligently keep up with maintenance, the split-unit ACs work very well in the summer, and the whole unit has a really great, "beach cottage" feel to it. Think: beach cottage. I.e. this unit does not have the luxuries of a 5 star hotel but the location can't be beat and the space is ideal for a relaxing weeklong vacation with family or close friends. This booking shares the private beach access space directly in front of it with unit 6B, below (Plum Royale Jr). That unit sleeps up to 6 adults. You can also walk directly onto the public beach in front, which goes for miles either north or south. I live nearby, about a 30 minute drive from here. And can be available at times when needed. This is one of the BEST spots on the Island; easy to drive in and out, walking distance to all of the Island bars, restaurants, and stores, and directly on the beach. Plum Island is not traditionally known for having ample parking but once you park you can walk all over the island :). There are 2 private parking spots on the property, but there are a number of public lots nearby for any additional cars, including one directly across the street with an automated pay station. Please note: BBQ Grills are shut down for seasonal weather (November - April). ** There is a $500 security deposit that will be taken in addition to the reservation amount. This is fully refundable.

We had a wonderful stay at this property over the week of Thanksgiving. The house has million dollar ocean views and is perfectly situated for walks on the beach and around the heart of Plum Island. The huge sectional sofa in the house is super comfortable for relaxing after days out, and the house’s kitchen was well-equipped with pons, pans, and cooking tools for making a full Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon!

Loved that the property was right on the beach. We had a great view waking up in the morning from the upper and lower floors. Just beautiful! Loved the small touch of coffee and tea available in the morning as well. The only complaints were that one of the bedrooms had very poor lighting, no hot water available at one of the sinks in the master bathroom, there were several (3) light bulbs not working and overall the the kitchen was a bit dusty and grimy in some areas - like the lights above the bar and in cupboards that stored the pots and pans. Taylor the manager responded relatively quickly when we had questions or issues. That was definitely appreciated.

Upstairs roof leaked and wet the couch and floors and wood stove. Closets doors were off hinges upstairs. Many cracked tiles in kitchen floor. The view of the sun rising was the best you could ask for. Everything you need was stocked well for our stay. Parking was insufficient for a house that sleeps 13 people. Would I stay there again, absolutely. Quiet and very peaceful there.

We enjoyed the location. The views were amazing! The house was had a few quirks that were disappointing for the price. The slope of the kitchen floor, broken shower door, the red, heart-shaped tub that was unusable. 2 parking spaces for up to 13 people and broken floorboard in one of the bedrooms.

We had a great stay. The property is as described. The maximum number of travelers was 9 and there were beds for all. We traveled with two (2) children under 4 years and we loved having the beach outside our door. We needed additional parking and we were able to rent two spaces from the owner of the parking lot across the street. The location is great and we were able to walk to restaurants/bait and tackle and convenience store! So helpful. Frankie replied to all my questions immediately. Thanks for a great time.

We had a wonderful 2 week family vacation! House is right on the beach and convenient to everything. House is very well stocked; the kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of chairs and beach towels.The views from the back deck are magnificent and we had “bevs and apps” out on the dune overlooking the water every evening! Frankie couldn’t be a better host! He promptly answered all our questions ; and managed to get us a new washing machine the very next day when the old one broke! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the purple house!

I’ve been coming to the island for 16 years. Great location right on the beach. Close to all the restaurants and ice cream shops but private enough you don’t feel like you are in the middle of everything when you are out back. Lots of space, clean and bright. A great place to come with your family!

Our family had a much needed respite at this amazing property. The location could not be better- the backyard is the beach! I truly could not get over how beautiful the view was. We walked to ice cream, restaurants and the nature preserve. The hosts, Frankie and Noah were very responsive and were genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. We really did not want to leave and will certainly book again.
