The Castle Star is a lovely spot. The guys who work there are all so friendly and helpful. The location is great - cool to be able to see the citadel and look onto downtown Amman from it. The rooms are comfy too. Thanks to Wael for taking me to Jerash too (highly recommended - it’s impressively beautiful and interesting) 🙏
Only tiny gripe is that occasionally people smoke in the building… but that’s Jordan!

The owner MOJO is really a sweet person. I arrived very early that day, but he still kept room for me. And he gave me good recommendations about the traveling plan, which made my trip there much happier and easier. Amman was my first stop in Jordan. The hotel definitely made me feel like home. The view was gorgeous. I was surprised the next morning.
The shower water was not warm enough. And the flow was a bit weak.

No elevator, below expectation bathroom maintenance and towels freshness.

The location is incredible is super close to Amman citadel - 5 mins walk
The room was a bit cold, even with the heather on I was cold. However this is because I went on December when temperatures are generally lower than usual
