Location, location, location!
In a vibrant italian colourfull street, yet quiet at night.
Railway station at a less than 10 min walk.
That typical touch of hanging your laundry outside, next to the window, with rotating wires.
Clean and well accommodated apartment.
A host that reacts almost immediately and is very polite and very helpful.
And yes, there are the stairs that some people complain about. I would like to reply to that in a positive way. You are in the beautiful region of Cinque Terre, 5 villages located on steep clifs. Where houses were built according to those steep clifs. Almost everybody wants to walk the famous nature trails between the villages. So consider the stairs as a warm up to those trails, you will need it 😉
As I like to cook, a cutting knife in the kitchen would be helpfull.

We liked that it’s near the train station. The staff responded to our questions asap. We were able to rest well. The restaurants are just down the apartment.
Maybe they could have put some basic necessities in the kitchen, not only the salt and sugar. And I don’t know but the pillowcases had some stains, and should have put a rug in the bathroom.

The flat was clean and centrally located
The stairs to the flat were very steep and dusty. On the day we arrived the residents of Riomaggiore were informed that the water to the town would be cut off the next morning. The property manager did not inform us so we could not shower in advance.
