We stayed here for one night, the three of us including our teenager, and really appreciated how spacious the accommodation was, especially having a separate bedroom (with a large King size bed!). Our host had prepared an extra bed for our teen, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The place is super quiet, so we had a really good night’s rest. The bathroom is spacious, very clean and has plenty of natural light. Our host was very kind and helpful, while also being discreet and giving us our privacy. she was always available if we needed anything.
The location is also very convenient, close to all facilities and shops, with everything easily accessible on foot.
A very comfortable and peaceful place for a short stay!
the sofa will need soon to be replaced as it begins to be a bit "tired" . but this is not critical.

For the public transport access from the airport, being walkable to Christchurch City centre and our forward on travel from Christchurch train station to Picton. Host looked after us with daily fresh meal and sweetly top ups. Nice touch 😋😜
Lack of space on kitchen worktop surface , maybe need to look into mounting the microwave on a wall bracket to free some work top space. Better quality cooking utensils. Very basic but functionable.

Easy check in. Room was good size.
The room had some smell which took some time to clear.
