we were up in the area for family pictures and Fall break weekend - staying here helped us to have a comfortable place to rest our heads, get ready for pictures and explore the area. The house was so perfect for our family! The kids loved the ping pong table downstairs and we all enjoyed kicking back in the living room to wind down after a long day of hiking and exploring the nearby state parks. Thank you for providing a truly fantastic place to stay for the long weekend!

This house is perfect for two couples or 1-2 small families. The game room downstairs is in progress and already wonderful for something different to do in downtime or for older children/teens. I am a big fan of small touches - like Kleenex boxes throughout the house, hair dryers, coffee - and these owners have thought of it all. If this house was on the other side of Hwy 61 for ease of walking to downtown, it would be perfect. It is only about 1 1/2 miles so still doable, but a little more challenging because of the traffic.

Everything about this house is perfect . Great location for exploring Minnesota’s North Shore. Every inch of the house is charming and useable. The living has comfortable good quality furniture. Beds provided a great night sleep. The kitchen is stocked with just the right amount of dishes, and small appliances. The basement was finished complete with a ping pong table, play area, tv and couch. The host encouraged us to pick apples from the front yard tree. That was a very nice treat for us. Communication was spot on. I forgot to mention CLEAN!!! It’s one of the few times we’ve arrived at a VRBO and didn’t feel the need to clean or wash dishes before we used them.

We spent a short weekend in two harbors to participate in a local biking event and relaxing weekend. This spot was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the secure garage for our bicycles. The host was extremely quick to respond if we had any questions.

Nice, clean house located in a perfect middle point on the north shore! Very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Kitchen was very spacious and stocked with the essentials. Garage was perfect to park our vehicle and easily secured our 3 bikes. Basement ‘game room’ was an added bonus and where we spent most of our time recovering from daily mountain bike adventures! The door entrance to the house is a little finicky, but we were able to make it work.

We loved our stay! They had everything you could need. There were even treats set out for us, which our boys loved. The house was so cozy and cute. It was so nice to have toys and boys for the kids too. We will stay again if we are in the area.

We loved our stay at this Two Harbors home. The owner was very responsive, providing information about check in and things to do. The house itself was immaculate and very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary. It truly was one of the best VRBO properties we’ve stayed in.

House and Host were Awesome!!! House was clean, cute, well stocked, great location, and the little added touches were appreciated. Host was respectful and checked before coming to mow the lawn so as not to bother us. Our stay couldn't have been any better. We will be back!!!!

This was our family’s first experience renting a VRBO, and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The property was VERY clean. The location was in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. This home was stocked with a large assortment of amenities from cooking/serving utensils to snacks for a weary traveler. We even had an over-sized garage to use for our truck. I would highly recommend this property!

This house was perfect for my wife, son, and me. We used it as our base to explore Duluth and up the North Shore to Grand Portage. Two Harbors has a great grocery store and good restaurants. We enjoyed Judy’s Cafe and the 5th Street Malt Shop. Spent most evenings relaxing at the ore docks and lighthouse by the lake. The house was very clean and well-supplied. The owners were very good at letting us know check-in and out procedures. Would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks for a great time.

We had a communication problem over the check-in details. A call to VRBO customer service resolved that quickly. The unit was beautiful, lovely and stocked with more amenities than we could ever need. I would bring my daughter and grandchildren to a unit like this in the future. Better than any ordinary hotel experience. A personal chef would have been an improvement, but I jest. I can think of no better stay ( except the one when the hotel chef made an anniversary dinner to remember, lol!)

My family and I loved staying here! The place was extremely clean and had everything you could ever want or need. We went to two harbors to go hiking over memorial weekend and this was a perfect location to stay to hit some of our favorite hikes- Gooseberry and Tettegouche state park. It is also very close to town so you can hit up some of the sites there as well. Sandy made us feel so welcomed here! She put out games and movies she thought our toddler would love and even made a play room in the basement for him! Which he loved because it had a play kitchen and a train set. My son loved watching Happy feet and Happy feet 2 on repeat most nights haha I also liked that it had 2 bedrooms connected by hall so that i could check on the kids very easily. We set up my daughters pack and play in the other room and she slept perfect in there. The garage was also big enough for my husband to park his truck in. Sandy also set out chalk, bubbles, and snacks. Thanks for thinking of the small details to make our trip easier! THANK YOU so much for sharing your home with us. We definitely highly recommend staying here and may come back again next year!

We were visiting children and grandchildren in Knife River and this was the perfect place for us to stay. I have a bad back and need a recliner to sleep. The one they had worked very well and allowed us to travel for the first time in a long while. The house was spotless and very well appointed with lots of games movies and local artwork. They also had left many snacks and even a bottle of wine too welcome us. Very nice people to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back again.

This is the cleanest vacation home I have ever stayed at - immaculate and comfortable too. Everything one could need for a North Shore mini vacation is provided. The hostess was very quick getting back to me with answers to any questions I had. And the garage is a big plus, although I suspect there aren't nearly as many car thefts in Two Harbors as there are in the Twin Cities. Nice quiet neighborhood - close to everything - whether heading up the North Shore to hike the Superior Hiking Trail or heading down to Duluth to treat my brother and sister to dinner.

Easy check in and easy check out. This property has all the components that a hotel often does not in a kitchen. We were excited to be able to cook our meals and have a space to unwind after hiking all day. The host was great to communicate with and very good about giving us a clean space to stay for a weekend.
