Quiet location. A short walk through pleasant quiet roads to a place where we could purchase a tasty meal at a modest price. It was lovely to be able to stretch our legs after many hours sitting in the car on the drive from Annecy.
If any future remodelling were to be considered, then locating the WC on the same floor as the bedroom would be advantageous, and a more robust handrail for the staircase

Amazing Gîte in the middle of the Champagne area. Loved how we had our own little home away from home. Everything was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Can't beat the amazing view of the vineyards right from your bedroom. Right around the corner you'll find a boulangerie and a champagne producer. Win!
