The location is superb, beach opposite, city centre, shops , bars, ice cream, restaurants, buses, taxis, there is a vibe and you can feel it. The hotel is old, all outdated, and the kitchen is a very basic mismatch so if you seek luxury - it is not but somehow it didn't bother me, as it is clean, specious, not even one bug or insect, lady cleans non stop. The pool is not too big but not as small as I thought it would be, you can do laps, the main pool is only deep, you can't stand, the other part is baby shallow. Never seen all beds taken or many ppl in it in mid July. The staff is not bothering you, not being friendly with you but politely smiling when you walk in. opposite hotels own beach club, you have to pay for bed 150 liras for the entire day, you can leave come back, great. It's free if you order food or drink there. The beach is a mix of pebble and sand, almost immediately deep. You can walk towards the lightning house for a few minutes either by sea or promenade and there is a shallow sea and only sand, perfect for kids, it is a public beach and you can rent a bed. The hotel has a washing machine located next to the lift. My apartment didn't have a drying rack, used a small wall mounted rack and chairs for drying- if you do your washing at midnight, it will be dry in the morning lol. Hotel is next to mosque - and yes, you can hear prayers and some street noise, but nothing is so annoying as this ugly next door AI hotel, with its daily shows, screams from 21-22.30, however if you take it as a part of experience, the noisy vibrant turkey at night, you can enjoy sitting on the balcony, it stops at 22.30 and is dead quiet - till next prayer lol. I am in my fifties and I liked it, if you seek a quiet, private stay, perhaps this hotel is not for you as balconies everywhere around you. Wi-fi worked all the time. For such a cheap hotel I expected not the best but it was actually really ok. Would I come back? yes

One thing which is not too great are sockets - only 2 in the living room, but again, you can live with it
