This hotel was taken over a couple of months ago and it's the 2nd time we've stayed here since. You can see nice personal touches and improvements already! Great place. Great owner and her team. Would recommend without a doubt and would certainly stay again!!!

Powerful shower 🚿 which is a plus!
Top up of water once room has been cleaned, although I am sure you could ask and they will provide, like I asked for some more shower gel and a hand towel and no issue at all.
Arrived after 5pm, room not cleaned or ready for my arrival.
Room overseeing the street, no sunlight, dull, beds hard, towels need changing, they are old, rugged and some with old stains.
No TV, fridge old, no holding tray to put your toiletries on whilst having a shower, need to place gel on the ground, asked for room to be made up, same bedsheets used, only towels changed as I placed them on the floor.
Doors on the rooms seem unsafe, gaps so that the hallway light shines into the room, door didn't feel secure/flushed so used my suitcase as a barrier despite there being a chain which I used too.
Furniture and whole room and hotel seems very dated, I could see they had recently painted as there were still dry paint splashes on the bedside table.
Swimming pool on the 4th floor is really interesting, saw it, didn't use it as it's extremely small and not very appealing.
For the price, it wasn't worth it in my view. !
If you have an overnight or 2 night stay, manageable otherwise, I'd pay the extra and stay where the facilities are a tad better.
Noisey guests for 3 days, complained, was informed they had been spoken to, slamming doors, banging on the ceiling as I was in room 206, had to sleep with headphones on!! No consideration at all for others, but that's not the hotel's fault, but there's no soundproofing so be prepared for some sleepless nights!
The pictures online do not reflect the actual property.
KATA BEACH is at least max 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel. It's not near in the slightest.
