Spend the holidays with family and friends here at Christmas Mountain Village's Two- Bedroom Townhome. This 1,200 square feet unit features 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed , 1 Sofa Bed in the living room including a full kitchen, 2 separate bathrooms, and laundry is in the unit. Maximum of 6 occupants. Additional amenities include: Balcony/Porch, Blender, Cable TV, Coffee Maker, Dishwasher, Hairdryer, Ice Maker, Internet Access, Iron/Ironing Board, Microwave, Oven, Refrigerator and a Stove/Range. Resort Amenities: Basketball, Billiards, Canoes/Kayaks, Children's Pool, Clubhouse, Concierge, Fishing, Fitness Room, Game Room, Golf, Grocery/Convenience Store, Indoor Pool, Internet Access, Laundry Facilities, Mini-Golf, On-Site Security, Outdoor Heated Pool, Paddle Boats, Playground, Restaurant(s), Snow Skiing, Tennis, Volleyball, and a Wheelchair Accessible. Area Attractions: Boat Tours of The Dells Indoor/Outdoor Waterparks State Parks (Hiking, Fishing and Boating) NOTE: This resort is located over 1,000 acres of hilly terrain. A vast majority of unit's will require stairs; in few cases up to 30 stairs leading to your unit. Please make sure your travel party is active or able to navigate at least one flight of stairs. The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or minimum age of 18). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out. The check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. On another note, late check-in procedures are located outside of the registration building. Picking up the receiver will call security. The nearest airport to Christmas Mountain Village is Dane County Regional (MSN) which is 55 miles by car respectively. Hence, if you have any concerns, our office hours are open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily to respond to your requests. For here at Christmas Moutain Village, we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction. ***Parking Policy*** On site, no charge, one vehicle per villa. Auxiliary parking available. ***Pet Policy*** No pets allowed. Subject to $300 fine. ***Day use policy*** Day use is unavailable at this time. ***Smoking Policy*** No smoking inside, including electronic cigarettes. Subject to $300 fine, unless if it's in a designated area. Other notes: The resort is located on over 1,000 acres of hilly terrain. Overall, this was a cute little cottage with comfortable beds. However, the unit is definitely showing wear and tear. There was dust, and cob webs on the surfaces, ceiling and baseboards. The shower in the master bathroom had rust and mold growing in the inside and outside of the standup unit. Hard to believe prior ratings have been 5 stars. The host responded in a timely manner, usually within a few hours of sending a message. However, he was mostly un-accommodating. When I initially booked, I accidentally booked a day too early from the rest of my family. I immediately messaged the host and he said he was unable to change the booking to be a day earlier. I thought maybe being around the holidays it was a busy time, but the booking calendar showed the place was available that day. Lastly, when we went to check in at 4:00 pm, the unit was not ready. We were told the unit would be ready within an hour and they would give me a direct call on my cell phone. I did not receive a call, so an hour and 15 minutes later, I went back to the front desk and the unit was ready. I messaged the host about not being able to check in, and he responded later that evening he did not have control over the check in process. It is clear that this resort is owned by a vacation timeshare company. So just understand the host rents these units out for the company, and does not seem to own the property, therefore, has little control on how this property is managed.

The property was as listed. It is located about 8 minutes from the downtown area. Very secluded and quiet. The check in process was lengthy due to them being very busy. Only draw back was parking. Having a full size pick up, parking was very tight. Would definitely stay there again.
