Spacious apartment
Good parking
Windows. For the first few days, the weather was very hot, and the temperature inside also. You need to be able-bodied to open the windows: it means climbing up on window sills to undo high safety catches, before you can raise the sash window from the bottom. As it was a ground-floor flat, we preferred not to leave low sash windows open at night. We didn’t even try to open the bathroom window as the window ledge was inaccessible due to the bath.
There was no small pan, and no teapot (we went out and bought one!)
Knowing the area, we thought the apartment would be closer to College Lane and Summmersdale. However, the Graylingwell site is extensive, plus there are bollards preventing traffic driving through the development. It was also a longer walk into town than expected, because of the location of the apartment on the Graylingwell site - it just meant we used the car more than anticipated.

Good directions to get here and inside.
No dinner plates - not one. No cleaning sponge & but one kitchen towel. Mattress uneven and lumpy - needs a new one. Living area windows unsafe to leave open (summertime) w easy access from outside. Curtains in bedroom not light blocking.
