Centrally located on Jekyll Island, we're within minutes of shops, restaurants, fishing, and 40 beach access points. Brand new kitchen with huge island for cooking and entertaining. Perfect private pool with outdoor fridge, outdoor TV, grill, and putting green. Upstairs in-law suite with a second kitchen, patio, living and sleeping area. Ample parking for cars and golf carts! Fully stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. 2 bikes included with each rental!

Impressive size for a beach property - plenty of room for our extended family of 6! And not just sleeping space, but plenty of areas to relax and read alone. It was our first visit to Jekyll Island and we loved the place. This property was right across from one of the upper beach staircases - we just had to keep an eye on the tides as high-tide had the stairs in water, not beach. But we were also only a 2 minute drive to a public beach when we wanted to go during the high tide. And the pool was fantastic, well-maintained and a good size. My grandkids spent a lot of time in the pool! The kitchens were both well-equipped and clean. Would recommend for families.

Another great stay at Charlotte’s Chateau! The house was perfect for two families with kids and two other families that came over for dinner each night. We’ll be back!

Pros: the number of rooms, layout and location of the house is great. The property manager was on point very responsive with anything they could do to address our complaints. The beds/sheets were clean and comfortable.
Cons: the house has a musty/moldy smell that was very unpleasant and borderline unbearable. The property manager explained that it might be because of a recent storm and I don’t remember other reviews mentioning it so this might be the case. For us, however, it was enough to where we didn’t want to spend time at the house. When we opened the dishwasher a horrible sewer smell came out and we came across roaches and spiders as well. Again, maybe due to storm? It was just very disappointing due to the amount of $$ we were paying for our stay. The pool and surrounding areas were also very dirty upon our arrival. With that said, the property manager addressed our complaint immediately and had someone come clean it up. The pool floor still had a lot of debris so we opted not to use it. Overall, we were a group of 6 girlfriends that hadn’t seen each other in 7 years so we chose to not let all this ruin our weekend - but it was pretty bad.
