The condo itself was excellent!

Swimming pool was ok but the hot tub was pretty bad, needed to be cleaned and sanitazed!

Terrible. Bed BROKEN, ants EVERYWHERE, and a sketchy Host!

The Hamilton Cove Community is the best location in Avalon for an elevated vacation.

Where do I start?! Let’s start with that. This is advertised as a 6 person stay with a pullout bed and the bed was BROKEN. Literally bars coming up from underneath the mattress. And there was dirt and dead ants all over the mattress when we pulled it out! They gave us an air mattress. I’m sorry, but if I pay $4K for place, sleeping on an air mattresses is unacceptable. There were ants EVERYWHERE. We had our bathing suits sitting on the ledge of the bath bathtub after a day at the beach and the next morning they were COVERED with ants! The grill - REPULSIVE. We bought all the ingredients to use the grill on the balcony and when we open it up, you can literally see fresh fat and grease on the grill, along with tons of black OLD gristle. It absolutely look like a fire hazard, and we ended up pan frying our burgers! All of the closets were filled like it was somebody’s house 😂 empty boxes, linens all over the place, decorations… All consumed by the bedroom closet and the hallway! I understand if you need a cleaning closet, but straight up empty TV boxes, and piles of other things made it impossible to even use the closet. MUST share the host’s unprofessionalism from the beginning! I booked in March 2026 for a stay in July 2026. Booking.com shows that payment wasn’t due until June 6. Mid May, I received a message that I needed to pay in full *outside* of Booking.com through a random Stripe link within 24 hours or they would cancel the reservation. I’ve booked many places and never came across that, so I push back on the host and told them my credit card information was already saved on the app. Then I also said I wanted to verify with Booking.com support that this was valid. These conversations happened OUTSIDE of Booking.com messaging, and these text messages to my personal phone when I told them multiple times I wanted communication to stay directly with Booking.com. When I submitted my inquiry to Booking.

Exceptional accomodations which made our stay memorable.

Every detail has been well thought out! The unit is a 2 bedroom w/ 2 spacious bathrooms. There are wood floors throughout, spacious granite counters in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen is well appointed with utensils, pots and pans, upgraded dishes, mugs and glasses. The most important feature was the complementary golf cart. My husband and I appreciated the extra blankets, large comfortable sofas, and beds. Last, the owner was extremely helpful and personable.

It does not have a direct view of the ocean.
