Great location, 5mins into main town area and shops/bars/restaurants. 2mins walk to closest beach area (or 5 mins plus if you want to walk to a different bit of the beach.
Easy to park (almost opposite).Very easy to pick up keys & get in on arrival.
Building is modern, very clean (marble & glass), all kept very clean and neat. There is a small pool, 6 sun-loungers & 3 umbrellas poolside - can be busy (first week - nobody but us, 2nd week too busy to get a lounger!). Fine for us, we preferred beach for the day, then a cool down in the pool. Its shady in the afternoon by the pool and there were a few bitey insects around.
Apartment was spotlessly clean and the lovely cleaner did a brilliant job for the 11 days we were there: daily bin changes, towels and sheets changed twice and helped when our shower was a bit blocked.
There is a lift in the building - v handy with suitcases! We were next to the lift - didn't notice any noise.
But we did notice some noise from inconsiderate guests 2nd week - shouting up the stairs & slamming doors at night. Because its marble/glass stairs/shared areas - its a bit echo-ie.
We had top floor (2) apartment - part sea view. Excellent air-con. Great facilities.
Separate bedroom at the back with pool/sea view, with a small balcony. Sunny in the morning, shady afternoons/evening. Large double bed with lovely linen, super comfy mattress & pillows. TV in room - but no international channels that we could find. There is a lack of drawers/hanging space in the bedroom - not enough for us for 10 days. I had to bring a table in from lounge area to keep toiletries on.
Good size bathroom with large walk in shower, lovely amenities, but no shelves/storage. Washing machine which was great.
Spacious lounge/kitchen area with everything you need - kettle, toaster good size fridge, big balcony (over main street) with comfy chairs and hanger with pegs for washing.
Note that all listed are not anything that would stop us returning to the Azul Apartments or highly recommending them,
(although we are not so 100% taken with Nidri - lacks a bit of Greek village prettiness - its busy, quite big and a bit over touristy, but a huge plus point is that everything is there, v close airport transfer, and you don't actually need a car as its super convenient close for beach/town and makes for an easy relaxed holiday).
Bedroom - lack of storage - drawers/hanging space & hangers in the bedroom - not enough for us for 10 days. Nowhere in the bedroom to stand/keep toiletries - no shelving, no mirror.
Bathroom - great size, great shower etc - but no space for toiletries/make up etc (we used the top of the washing machine)
Just to advise - its a small pool (we did know this pre booking - can see on the info photos) - sometimes nowhere to sit or put towels - if you wanted to stay poolside.
Pool are is shady in afternoons - which did mean some insects that bite arrive (not the apartments fault at all - I got bitten there but also when just out walking early morning by the far end of marina) - there is not a lot of moving air poolside - its in a courtyard and there is lovely vegetation around.
Stairs/shared area marble/glass can be a bit echo-ie - which meant if other guests were inconsiderate late at night, you could occasionally hear. But if guests are sensible and considerate it shouldn't be a problem.
Apartments are located on the main road into Nidri, we were on 2nd floor with the bedroom at the back - so not much noise expect the odd v noisy motorbike, but I think if you were at the front it may be a little noisy from 8am (cars/coaches to the harbour for boat trips) and early evening for pick ups and drops off. On the plus side - the v large balcony at the front was great to sit on in the evening and watch all the comings and goings!
