Situated in Surf City, this charming house for $715 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Welcome to Beachcomber, located in Surf City, NC on beautiful Topsail Island! This duplex townhome has a reverse floor plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 10. Decorated in an updated cheerful coastal vibe, it's perfect for a large family, or 2 smaller families traveling together. We've also hosted couples looking for a quiet getaway, and mother/daughter vacations. Lots of options! You can view the floor plan in the photos. Lower Level King bedroom with private bath faces oceanside and steps out to the lower deck. 2 bunk rooms with twin-over-full bunks and a shared balcony overlooking the front courtyard. Hall bathroom with shower/tub combo, and washer/dryer closet. Lower Deck Inviting 6-person hot tub for relaxing, and letting your cares float away. Outdoor shower for a quick rinse after returning from the beach. Top Level King bedroom with its own bathroom, and private balcony overlooking the front courtyard. The living, kitchen, and dining area is one big open space for everyone to hang out together. We love the high ceilings and wall of windows that provide an endless expanse of sky and sea. This room has a queen sleep sofa if needed, and a cabinet filled with fun, family games. Stocked Kitchen Stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, dishes, and plenty of pots, pans and bakeware. Dining Dining table seats 8 Kitchen counter with 3 bar stools. Outdoor dining table seats 4 Linens/Towels Bedding, bath towels, and hot tub towels are provided for your convenience. For Families with Small Children We have a wooden high chair, booster seat, pack-n-play, and baby gate for the interior stairs. Smart TVs & Internet 3 smart TVs in the house - just login to your own streaming account and enjoy! We also have high speed internet access. Beach Supplies Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, child beach toys Parking Parking is available for 4 cars - 2 under the home, and 2 on the driveway. Keys Home has keyless entry, and you'll receive a code shortly before arrival. Stairs and Beach Access Please be mindful there are many stairs here - a flight to the front entry, a stairwell inside the home, and many deck stairs on the ocean side. There is also a dune to cross when accessing or leaving the beach, which is consistent with many oceanfront properties on the island. Location Our home is conveniently located less than 1 mile from the Surf City Bridge, and Surf City Pier. We are walkable to many restaurants and eateries on the island. Many of our guests enjoy strolling along the beach and then taking the public access closest to their desired destination, or meandering through the neighborhoods. Grocery & Pharmacy There's a Walmart Neighborhood Market, Food Lion, Publix, and CVS before you cross the bridge to the island to stock up on supplies. Surf City IGA is on the island nearby. Things to See & Do One of the most remarkable things about Topsail Island is it's a turtle sanctuary. Turtles nest between May and August, and hatch from July into October. To learn more about the turtles, consider a visit to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (purchase tickets ahead on their website). Other fun to-dos include the Surf City Ocean Pier, the Missiles and More Museum, and Soundside Park with its playground, picnic tables, and fun activities like fishing, walking trails, bird watching, and more! My family also loves Surf City Jet Ski & Watersports to jet ski freestyle in the Intracoastal Waterway! We've found Beachcomber a great place to unwind, have a working vacation, or just hang out with family. We'd love for you to plan your next relaxing getaway here, and build wonderful memories with your favorite people. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Pets - We love dogs, but we do have some family allergies, and only allow 1 small dog under 20 lbs. and over 12 months (no puppies). There is a $200.00 non-refundable pet fee. Please specify breed at booking. Dog must be housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date on all shots, and have no fleas or bite history. Guest must provide their own dog supplies. We do not allow dogs on any beds or furniture for the comfort of our own family, and future guests, as pet hair is difficult to remove from linens and upholstery. Guest must agree to pet rules in the required Renter's Agreement. Discounts - We adjust our prices to reflect the current market, our location and the amenities we offer. Occasionally, we may run a special discount for the public, but we do not accept discount requests. Trip Insurance - we encourage all Guests to purchase trip insurance to protect themselves against any seen or unforeseen events that would prevent or disrupt their trip, including personal emergencies, inclement weather, etc. Per NOAA the Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1 - November 30. Trip insurance will be offered at the time of Booking.

Great stay over thanksgiving week. Communication from our host was outstanding with several touch-base messages before, during, and after our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked for our stay - whether its a few extra laundry pods or new spices in the kitchen or board games to play, we had almost everything we could want. My one critique - sacrifices had to be made to fit the appliances/cookware in the tight kitchen footprint; however, this left little room for food supplies except for in the fridge or the countertop. Would love to see some creative storage options and freeing up of pantry space to round out our otherwise great experience.

We had a great time. The house was conveniently located to the ocean and was nice for our teenagers going back and forth to the water. It was a little far from the main area of restaurants with it being so warm. We have a 1 year old and appreciated all the amenities for him to make our stay safe. It was so nice to have umbrellas, highchair, gate, beach toys and boogie boards provided which allowed us to pack less in the car.

Wow! The Beachcomber did not disappoint! This is a fabulous property - inside and out - it exceeded our expectations:
- Awesome layout to enjoy the view with direct access to the soft, sandy, clean beach
- Hot tub for cool times of the day (or a drizzly one)
- Screened windows and doors that open widely to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean
- Bright welcoming decor and comfortable beds, sofas and chairs
- Private outdoor space for reading, eating, visiting, enjoying the view
- Fully stocked kitchen with an abundance of dishes and cooking utensils
- Easy walk to local eateries or activities (walk on the beach to any public access to get to where you want to go)
- Quick drive to see the work of those at the Karen Beasley turtle rehabilitation center
- Less than an hour to take in some history in Wilmington (Bellamy Mansion, USS Carolina)
Donna was proactive in providing information on local amenities, weather and surf information, and reached out to check on us and very communicative through the whole rental process!
Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach vacation!

We had a great time and the house was in a perfect location! We were able to walk to dinner and get ice cream multiple evenings and really enjoyed evenings relaxing in the hot tub looking out at the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber. The facility was clean and ready when we arrived. The property manager was outstanding very responsive and used email to checkup on us during the visit. Access to the each was outstanding.
Only problem was the wife and I are of age and the stairs were not our friend, but the exercise done us good Lol. Overall I give it an outstanding rating.

We really enjoyed this house. We traveled with kids and really appreciated the baby gate, high chair, beach toys and chairs that were provided so that we didn’t have to bring them ourselves. There were even white noise machines in the kids’ rooms which was great as well. Other provisions such as dishwashing tabs, laundry detergent and trash bags at the house were also very convenient. The host was communicative and helpful.
The only feedback I have, and this is really out of anyone’s control, but the floors/ceilings do seem to be thin. If you are traveling with a baby + other small kids, you’ll want to be strategic about nap time and getting the bigger kids out of the house so baby can sleep. Just walking around the upstairs seemed to be heard from downstairs. But, like I said, the host even has white noise machines available that can really help with that too.
Would definitely recommend for an ocean front stay with all the conveniences!

This house was everything you see on the preview and more! It was gorgeous with amazing views of the ocean in the living room and downstairs master suite! Plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen is adequate and well stocked to cook for you and yours! Seriously, a walk down the deck and you are on the sand!

charming split level right on the beach which waS perfect! the decor in the smallish living room was reminiscent of Pawleys Island 1968. and a bit bulky and oversixed for thesmallerlivingroom but we had a great time! kitchen wSnew with quartz vounters -beds were comforatble and linens were great.

If you're looking for some relaxation right on the beach, this is the house to rent. In a quite neighborhood like setting, just steps to the beach and a short 2 minute drive into town. The house has been well maintained and decorated to make you feel right at home! This is my new beach house everytime I come home to my favorite beach!!

The location right on the beach was ideal. We loved eating on the covered porch and being able to watch the waves in the shade. Hot tub soaks were a great way to start and end the day, particularly in the cooler evenings. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking utensils. Our hosts were responsive to questions and tried to be flexible within reason when a hurricane messed with plans. Beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards were nice amenities that were also supplied.

The first thing I saw when we got upstairs was the sign, "Welcome to the Beach" at that moment my blood pressure dropped and I felt a sense of peace that lasted the next 7 days.
This was my families 3rd time visiting Topsail and it was wonderful! I could hear the waves at night with the door and windows closed!! HEAVEN The porch swing was my favorite place to have my morning coffee. (other than walking the beach) The home was everything the ad said it was.. Our family of 9 stayed here for a week - grandma/grandpa, kids ranging from 2-10 - it was perfect! Kids loved looking for sharks teeth and we had the RARE opportunity of seeing baby sea turtles hatch in front of the home on our last day - simple incredible.
As clearly stated in the listing, stairs are plentiful and a little steep but did not hinder anything. Can’t beat the location and the home had everything we needed. Donna was quick to reply and remedy any questions or concerns. Would totally stay again and recommend!

The house was clean, had plenty of extras (blankets and pillows, etc), and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils so we could cook a few nights. The house is right on the beach which is awesome, so we just set up at the bottom of the stairs every day and enjoyed! The house is pet free which is a must for us due to allergies, so that is appreciated. The owners were accommodating and easy to communicate with. I'd stay here again!

The house was really awesome and plenty of space. We spent most of our time outside on cover deck facing ocean and it was really nice. Loved the fact you could walk out of house directly onto beach. Could monitor kids from deck without problem. Inside house was super clean and organized well. Everything we needed was there and easy to find. Outdoor shower got a lot of use and was great. The layout was perfect for our two families, with having two masters and two extra rooms it fit our families perfectly.
Donna and her husband were very helpful throughout the process, and were quick to answer any emails I sent them. We’ve been coming to topsail for years, and we just left the location how close you were to everything but still in the residential area.

This house was the perfect set-up for our trip! The kids loved the bunk beds, and the two king rooms were a treat! I’m not sure if the access to the beach can be any closer or better! The house was close to anything we needed, and yet it felt secluded and away from the hustle and bustle at the same time. We have never done a week on the beach like this before, and this will certainly not be our last! Donna was very responsive to our messages, and we are so thankful such a wonderful vacation!
