The hosts were absolutely charming and very helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible, despite the setback of the limited transport options to Arles (see section below). The best thing about the room is that it's relatively spacious. It can be shuttered to keep it relatively cool even on very warm days. The mobile AC is a very welcome add-on.

I expected Tarascon to be a good base for visiting the photo festival at Arles. But that was not the case as trains and buses only assure the connection on peak hours. After 7pm one has to rely on a taxi. I missed a comfortable desk in the room. The bed is a foldout couch which does have its limitations qua comfort. The lodging's neighborhood is not very attractive.

Excellent cleanliness. Very kind, warm and smiley host who welcomed me at the door and accompanied me to the room and explained everything about what was included in the room, the self-service breakfast (coffee,tea, etc) offered, and how things worked for example in the case of the air con. The bed was comfortable, I slept very well and the place felt cozy overall. The internet worked amazing; hot water is available, tap water is drinkable and tastes good and the location is great as it’s very close to the station. It is located in a small town, it seemed isolated a bit but I felt very safe walking by. Evertyhting was lovely and I recommend it!

A truly lovely apartment, looked after by hosts who couldn’t have been more helpful despite my very late arrival c/o SNCF! It had everything I could possibly need for a short stay, in pleasant surroundings.

A bit difficult to find initially, but that was a minor problem.
