I loved everything about this intimate, small hotel with overall relaxed atmosphere. Lovely room, excellent bedding, beautiful lighting, great bathroom.

We really loved this small, beautifully designed hotel. The room was very comfortable with a wardrobe and area for making tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious; we chose western but you could also opt for Japanese. Beautiful produce. The staff were friendly and informed. Everything was smooth from check-in, to ordering a taxi and baggage transfer. Staff were also very prompt with replies when I messaged with questions. Best of all. it was located near so much that is enticing about Kyoto. We could step out during the day or at night and find loads of options for food. It was even just lovely walking around particularly at night when the buildings look so beautiful and there's something marvellous to see around every corner. Add to the convenience: a kombini and a laundromat across the road. Thank you, we have happy memories of our week in Kyoto at Gion Misen Furumonzen.
