This place is a gem. A remote location, so it's peaceful and quiet, but the area around the shepherd's huts is very well maintained. The hut is cosy, but well planned, so there was plenty of space for a family of 3 and a small dog. It's beautifully decorated. We enjoyed having a campfire in the evening, with everything provided. There was an outside space to sit and enjoy the nature, and space to lay a blanket and lie down with a book under a tree.
Brilliant communication with the owners - I had questions that were promptly answered and had a lovely chat with them on site.
This is a great location for local sightseeing - close to Lindisfarne and Duddo stone circle, and close to Berwick. We loved it.
The bins could be better signposted. The wifi was also non-existent (we were in the furthest hut), which meant a nice break from the internet for me (finished my book!), but my preteen son wasn't too impressed.

This was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. It feels very spacious, the beds are comfy, and it is very well set up in terms of amenities. We didn’t cook but there were facilities to do so if we’d wanted to. The shower was good. Nice location, really lovely to look out over the horses and other wildlife.
The WiFi did not extend to the hut we were in, and the phone signal was very patchy. That was fine for us, but something to note for future guests.

The privacy of this hut meant that most of the time I felt like I was the only person there, the location was stunning, the animals wandering around were simply charming. The design and hut were perfect and had everything you would ever need.
The double bed was extremely comfortable and despite arriving during the heat wave slept amazingly.
