The location and the house itself was absolutely amazing! It was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was ample room for parking, and much more room inside than the photos show. The views were were breathtaking and in such a beautiful location. Though it was not in the centre of Ballycastle it was only a short drive to the town and beach. You would need a car unless you are of a strong walking constitution! We would definitely return!
On arrival we could not find the Wi-Fi code which was a bit of a panic, as I still needed to do some work from there and be contactable. it was eventually located, on the main hub under the stairs. The outdoor bins were full to the top, and as we were there for a week, this was going to prove a problem. There were no kitchen bin bags, tea towels or dish cloths/scrubbers and more importantly only 2 hangers between 3 wardrobes!! Plus there appeared to be dirty sheets just thrown in the cupboard under the stairs, and also neatly folded sheets so we were unsure what was clean and what wasn't, to make up the sofa bed. Luckily we have family in Ballycastle and they arrived with supplies and everything was fine. They were even able to tell us when to put the bin out (put out Monday night, for collection on Tuesday, and make sure you take it down to the main road), so we got one empty! All it needed was a welcome book to give basic information, and this would solve so much and lead to a 10 star review, as everything else was just magical! We would definitely return, and hope these issues would be read by the host and sorted for future guests.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location and so close to being a 5 star experience with lots of space and an excellent level of comfort
The property is billed as sleeping 8 ( 3 doubles and a double sofa bed). We were a party of seven. On arrival the sofa bed was not apparent and not made up. We contacted Sykes who arranged a call back from the housekeeper- I was told where the linen was and made up the bed myself- it was fine for one person but would not have slept 2 adults.
There were empty hand soaps in all the bathrooms, and one small bath towel and hand towel / person at the foot of the beds- but none for the 7th person. I texted the housekeeper back re these and was told to stop texting. In the end I had to go and buy extra towels.
Small details like no bins or power sockets in the bathrooms were also annoying and no sockets close to mirrors for hairdrying.
These details and better customer service would make this place perfect

It was a perfect base for exploring the attractions such as giants causeway and the rope bridge and for seeing the villages and towns.

Gorgeous property and it was immaculate, Stayed with family and had a great time, really stunning house and all the home comforts
The location was beautiful only downside was had to get a taxi in and back if we where having a drink with dinner , roads not safe to walk into town , no footpath , narrow country roads !
