Location about 5 mins from Otranto, rustic and charming and very relaxing.
Owners very friendly and incredibly helpful in terms of helping you get the most out of your stay in the area. Excellent breakfast too.

We loved the location, open country, yet close to Otranto, despite the sad state of the local olive estates. The room was exceptional.
One minor grumble - paying for the bottled water in the room. We didn't mind paying - but it surprised us.

I really wish I could give Tenuta Dorovilo a higher score, because the place itself is lovely. The hosts were incredibly kind: they explained everything to us and even recommended places to visit nearby. Breakfast was impeccable, with plenty of options and all delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Unfortunately, the mattress was far too uncomfortable — I couldn’t have managed more than one night on it. On top of that, too much light came into the room even with all the curtains properly closed. I think this property has the potential to be so much better, and ultimately you come to a place like this to sleep, so the resting conditions are what weigh the most for me.
