The first room was filthy with water damage and mold , with stains on the furniture. The second room was just as bad. I spoke to local management and Marriott corporate management. They released me from my reservation and I spent an hour finding another hotel.

It should have cost $50 not $350. It wasnt really downtown, the room was not cleaned, the bed was hard as a rock, it was boring old and trashy. I cried. Go anywhere but here. The pool was terrible too they put so much chlorine probably because they never change the water- also pre teens jumped in right from a football game. They didn't shower they sweated in the hot tub first then jumped in the pool with their grossness. No good restaurants or bar like they lied about on the reservation.. Go to the the omni or Biltmore or anywhere. Such trash. I wanted my money back the second I saw the outside of it. I feel I deserve a refund!!! I will be calling!!!? My daughter was so excited to go to what I thought and described as a luxury hotel and it was destroyed. Thanks for nothing.

Where to begin…I travel a lot for work and for pleasure, staying at a variety of different locations. 1. 4PM check in? Need I say more? 2. At waiting around for 3 hours for the 4PM check in, I was “upgraded” to a “newly renovated” room that was a smaller bed I booked and paid for. On top of that there was some red jelly substance on the floor, the closet doors didn’t stay open and really didn’t shut, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the knob to turn the water on / temperate was like an inch off the wall and cocked, and the toilet was smaller than a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket. I have stayed at a variety of Marriot properties including many Omni properties and for the higher price they charged for this location I’d expect at least a mid-tier experience. I literally came in from another work trip where I stayed at an Aloft, a marriot property, near a major airport and paid half the price / night and not only was the service better, the room was cleaner, actually put together, and was given the room I reserved and paid for.

I did not like the fact that when I went to reserve my stay for one more day ...I asked front desk to send house keeping to my room to change the bed sheets get new towels and to change my trash I took 2 hours for house keeping to show up... That's a little ridiculous for it being a medium sized hotel you would think they had enough staff

The hotel was nicely remodeled, rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was extremely nice and helpful and they include transportation within a 2 mile radius which was perfect.

Probably best place we stay around Providence . Overall great value . Never use pool or gym but seems very nice . Although pool is small with another outdoor section. Restaurant is decent food average to above average priced.

Clean, comfortable hotel that is close to downtown. Indoor pool and pool area were nice. Breakfast at the Bluefin Grille was decent, but expensive ($20 for oatmeal, for example). Hotel was quiet at night despite proximity to the highway.

i didn’t sleep continuous yelling the people running up and down the hallway. Cornell came back from their hockey game were yelling in the hallway at two in the morning then some bimbos were yelling at 3:30 in the morning. I never got any sleep and I had to drive eight hours home the next

we booked a king bed, and were given two queens with the excuse that the queen rooms were renovated and the kings were not. Great that’s fine but tell me during check in not after i go up thinking it’s the wrong room and bring all my stuff back down to the lobby. The room was actually falling apart. idk how this was renovated but the hooks were falling off the walls and the light switches and outlet covers were all crooked. there was hair in the bathroom and some trash on the floor when we came in. I’ve been staying at marriott’s for over 20 years and this was probably the worst stay i’ve had.

This property used to have extras like free parking that made it attractive. These features are no longer available, parking is $20 per day. It’s very noisy, beds are not ver convenient mfortable and really hard bla 1 restaurant without room service. Not bad but not a good value for the price.

Staff was excellent! Lobby, restaurant/bar excellent. Shuttle service a great amenity. Our room was not up to standards of Marriott. Poor lighting, old furniture, bathroom poor at best. Windows were dirty or just old and etched. Our room was a disappointment especially since the rest of the property was up to standards.

Very old room. Unbearable smell as soon as I open the door. AC unit is very loud. Credit card was over charged . Breakfast was booked included. But was told not offering. This is the worst Marriott stay I ever experienced

The bathroom had visible black mold in the shower area and in the ceiling above shower. We wanted two Queen beds as the booking stated and were given two double beds Room did not seem fresh and clean Asked for more towels Took 45 minutes to bring Overall worst stay we have had here. Will be booking the Omni next time

The pool and hot tub were terrific. My only complaint is the Expedia amenities said we would have breakfast for two. The hotel did not have any record or knowledge of this and advised us to contact Expedia directly.

Tried to extend my stay by 1 day when I checked in told i couldn't because the reservation was made via exoedia. Told to come back in two days to make new reservation, 8:30am knock on the door. :"Room Service" There was no room service at hotel. IT was the maid who spoke no English and thought Room Service and Housekeeping were the same thing. Next day when the maid knocked I opened the door and said come in you can clean the room. Clearlyy she did not understand me and said "later: No one cleaned the room that day. On Sunday it rained all day so I thought I'd watch football on TV. Neither of the two channels--CBS and Fox--that carried the game were available on the TV.

Love the Marriott Bed! Staff very accommodating to our scheduling needs. Very comfortable hotel. Did not hear the interstate from our room. Area surrounding this hotel is not the safest. Hotel does lock front doors at night that requires your key card to enter.

The hotel room was dirty, there were stains on the bedspread, cobwebs and grime by the windows. The bathroom was dirty too. Pictures below. We stayed here before, less than a year ago, and it was fine. This time it was gross. We asked to change rooms and they wouldn’t move us. Also there was a long wait at the front desk. It was not worth the price. Then they added $20 extra per day for parking. This parking expense was not communicated before arrival.

We were very disappointed with the condition of our room. Lights were dim and the room felt dark. Very old furniture, one of the chairs was so stained, beat up, and dirty looking - it would’ve been better to have no furniture than the OLD furniture that was in this room. Bathroom was old and didn’t even have a vent/fan for showering. We realized after checking in that half the hotel is newly renovated and those rooms only cost a small amount more than the room we had. This felt unfair and unacceptable. The room descriptions should explain which are in the renovated section and which are not - this negative review could be avoided.
