It was disgusting the area is not safe we saw someone wearing a ankle monitor the room looked like either there was blood dripping or a paintball fight I wanted a pillow cuz there was only one and never got didn’t even get to sleeep it was horrible so not stay here!!!!

The location is filthy starting from hallways, doors, lobby, Elevator is discussing. The rooms or at leat my room bathroom door is all dirty and painted with pen. The mattress had springs all out and could be felt. The bathroom toilett leaked all night and the bathroom sink has all cocky around it falling apart.

This was horrible! Totally disgusting, dirty dirty dirty, toilet didn’t flush, lobby was so incredibly dirty, cops outside when we arrived and receptionist was not comforting or explained anything, very scetchy, hotel.com cancelled our reservation without notice, no hot water for shower, sheets had balls/pills so not comfy at all, no blanket, elevator and hallways so filthy!! Never again!

I would not stay here again. In desperate need of a facelift. The staff was helpful but I tired of going back and forth from the room to the front desk due to no TV remote, key didn't work, etc. Convenient to the freeway and the Miami Zoo but definitely a budget hotel and it showed. Ok for a 1 nite stop otherwise would give it a pass.

No microwave, some rooms had them some did not, only 1 blanket for 2 beds, check in took 25 minutes because the desk clerk checked someone else into my room under my name. Rooms were not the cleanest, holes in the wall in the bathroom from previous shower rods. Room keys needed replaced daily. Check in parking is absolutely a nightmare, so small. Elevators were god awful, so slow, also one was shut down most of my stay. Getting down to floor 1 and back up took multiple minutes each time. Have stayed in many many hotels/motels, this is one of the worst I’ve experienced. For $100 a night, I got ripped off.

I was here for two nights. I was on the 5th floor and the elevator is super slow and the first night the elevator was turned off after 5 and you have to go inside to use the one in the lobby this was an inconvenience. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, the tub was dirty and the towels had hair on them. In addition to that the tub was clogged. We asked for clean towels before we left and expected to have them when we returned but when we returned later that night no one had entered the room to give new towels or remove the trash. We had to go ask for towels and was told that they do not enter the rooms to clean until guest check out. Overall the stay was not worth the money.

Motel 6, unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The room's cleanliness was below par, with evident signs of neglect. Basic essentials like towels were missing, and the unwelcome presence of cockroaches was unsettling. To add to the discomfort, the initially missing amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave, were eventually provided from what seemed like a storage area—dusty and infested with bugs. The elevators, were filthy and emitted unpleasant odors, creating a rather unwelcoming atmosphere. Attempts to address these concerns, especially the room were met with disappointment. Despite requesting a meeting with the General Manager, my requests were denied, and no formal complaint was registered. Compensation, none was offered, leaving me dissatisfied with both the experience and the lack of responsiveness to my concerns. After persistent follow-ups, a room change was arranged, promising better lighting. However, the new room still lacked the booked amenities (refrigerator and microwave) as booked by us, leaving me questioning the overall commitment to guest satisfaction and the do not care attitude was evident. Significantly short of the standards one would expect, considering the brand reputation. I was hoping to discuss these concerns further with the General Manager to gain insights into how such lapses in service can be addressed promptly during our stay but that never happened. All in all, the worst experience ever!

Stayed a week there, the elevator was slow with terrible smell; a little noisy as it’s close to the highway; felt a bit unsafe with the size of the hotel; staff were very friendly and helpful; no room service during the stay.

As soon as I opened the door into my non-smoking room, pungent smell of weed smoke hit my nose like somebody was sitting and smoking right in my room. Dirty sheets and pillow cases on the beds not changed from previous stays. My son went to the reception to ask for clean ones, so we can change ourselves, was told they don't have any. Disgusting, had to sleep with our clothes on.

The place was dirty. Mold on the bathroom door and walls. The shower handle was broken so unable to shower. Debris on floor. Stains on the sheets. Elevator area smelled of urine. Spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere.

I paid some $110 for a king bed room. Parking was in very congested lots in the back where most people had parked overlapping to the next lot. Many inmates were walking drunk and some had 3-4 big dogs and one had just left them free. I thought I booked in a non-smoking room but smoking level was high by renters. Room was reasonably good and spacious which was the only positive feeling. I did not have the courage to go out due to unsafe feelings and just wanted to sleep and leave by morning. It looks like Miami is expensive to get rooms in good hotels - possibly starting $150/-

I wasn't expecting much from a Motel 6 outside of the city but this place surprised me. Very clean and modern building. The rooms seemed updated a little bit and were pretty clean. Nice view of the surrounding area from the 6th floor that we were on. One thing to mention that probably 99% of people don't care about but I think is still important is that there are no bikes allowed on the property. We were traveling by bikes, riding down A1A from Georgia to Key West over 7 days. Hotels.com nor the hotel's site or booking receipt email mentioned this but apparently its a big deal here and the manager hates bikes or they had an issue in the past - not sure what the story was but it was very inconvenient for us and we had to get creative that night.

This place should not even be in business, the first the tube/shower area was filthy. The elevator unreal and just the entire hotel was terrible. Again this place should not exist as a hotel/motel or business. Should be locked down.

Broken elevator, other working elevator has broken display making it a violation. Room smell horrible & moldy. Bathroom has holes and water damage. Sheets are stained. Ended up not staying at this place. Not recommended at all especially for families.Sketchy activities all over the place.
