Great location and nice hotel. But we were first given a room right under the gym - they never mentioned it when we checked in- we kept hearing a loud bang every 2 minutes - so we called and mentioned it (thinking someone in the above room is dropping something) They never called to say it’s the gym until 45 minutes later I went downstairs complain again. Then they fussed and changed our but don’t think we got two queens as we paid .. the beds were smaller probably full size beds (we have teenage kids) so not easy to stay in a small room with small beds. But at least no one was dropping weights every 2 minutes

I liked your hotel and almost all was ok. The food and drinks at the restaurant was awful! Also we lost hot water the first morning which was very inconvenient. I honestly expected the hotel to at least compensate for the day we had not hot water! It’s hard to get yourself and a toddler ready without washing !

Hotel is beautiful, staff at check-in, valet, bell hops, dining staff were all so friendly and helpful and genuinely sweet. Hotel is very clean which I loved and the rooms are beautiful. Everything has a clean modern aesthetic (gray and white quartz, gold accents, modern light wood). The hotel is beautiful. The only con is the location is a bit far and so walking over the freeway bridge is a bit tiring to get to and from the beach and shops. I also hope they add more healthy options to the hotel menu.

The property is pleasant and conveniently located, and the staff is responsive and service oriented. The hotel is experiencing some major issues that the staff is reluctant to talk about whole efforts to address them seem feeble. Many toilets do not work due to foolish state laws, and the hotel is very slowly repairing them. They do not seem organized at the front desk to know which rooms have repairs. The restaurant and room service are understaffed so they simply close, unannounced, seemingly randomly. Communication of these failures is non-existent. I left wondering whether the property has any general manager at all.

Hiltons can be hit or miss, and this one was great! Location was fantastic. So was proximity to the beach, coffee, restaurants, I10, etc. It was great! The only thing that was not disclosed upon booking is that you have to valet park your car, which was $49/day and $49/night. So factor that in when you are pricing out your trip and exploring options.

Nice, fully updated property in a convenient location just off I-10 and minutes to the 3rd Street Promenade. The suites are very spacious, perfect for a family.

The location is great and convenient. I requested a room for three people, but the size of the room was too small for three adults, and the air conditioning wasn't cooling off the room enough.

Hotel did not have room service for 2 of the 3 days. I would have selected another hotel if I had known. The website did not disclose no room service during the holidays. When asked for an adjustment I was told no.

We spent 4 nights here over Christmas. The hotel is clean, modern and rooms well - appointed. Location is great for pier and shops. Food and drinks are quite expensive but all was good quality. Freddy on concierge was a huge help and massive thanks to him for helping us solve luggage and rental car issues. Would 100% stay here again.

This is not acceptable to pay 50$ per night for parking, there are not other options. Also 10$ per day for wifi, never seen something like that all over the world, the hotel is not super luxury. Give up.

The hotel itself is okay, the rooms facing streets might occasionally get some noise at night but it's not too bad. Civic Center Parking Structure is right across the street so you can save yourself some parking fee. I don't recommend the restaurant onsite, the facility is good, but the food is very average at best, please find yourself a better chef. All in all, it's typical Hilton, you pay almost everything. I'm fine with $5 soft drink or $59 parking fee, what always annoy me is how Hilton insists that you join their membership to get free Wifi while every 3-star hotel is giving out WiFi for free. I ended up just using my cellphone signal as a protest.

Lovely Hilton ideally located nearby downtown Santa Monica. The staff where wonderful, shoutout to the front desk ladies. Not much in the food department, especially nighttime munchies. Usual hotel overpricing for that stuff. Beds where wonderful, rooms new and clean. Staff is wonderful

The front desk staff was tired at check in. I’d made a reservation via hotels.com for several people and prepaid for them on the company card, but when they checked in they were told they had to pay with a different card because they had to use the same card for the reservation and the incidentals. This has caused a total nightmare with our expense reports. The room was just ok comfort wise- I found it very hot and even with the AC at full blast for the entire day, it was still hot at bedtime. They must know the AC will only cool the room so much because the bedding is basically just a sheet. It was fine, just not very cozy for sleeping. For nearly $700 a night, I expected much more in terms of service and comfort.
