Very frustrated with this hotel, I booked in December and when I arrived April 5, I was told that they overbooked and that there was nothing they could do. They then went on to say that they secured a room at different location 20 miles away. When I asked how much the hotel was per night they told me they didn’t actually move the reservation they just suggested that I stay there.
My problem is this, they knew they overbooked before 5:00 pm the day of the stay, a simple call would have allowed me to start working on a room sooner than 1 hour before the event I was in town for.
If I had to go to Saginaw again and there were no other hotels other than this one available anywhere else, I d stay in my car. Things happen, but the way this was handled is inexcusable.
Also, the potholes in the parking lot and the lobby wasn’t much to be proud of either.

It wasn’t awful. I thought this was a good spot because of the attached restaurant. Nope! The restaurant was horrible food and the prices were expensive which are not listed. The pool was good for kids but the weekends are definitely loud. Old linens, towels ect. It had a face lift but not in the bedding and linens departments. My first night I asked for my trash to be emptied left the can outside the door and never got emptied.

Hotel was clean. Staff was great. Booked for 5 people. Rooms states it sleeps 5 people. When we arrive there two queens, that’s it. Can’t do rollaways due to fire marshall. Could either book a second room or make a make shift bed on the ground. Very frustrating!

The hotel was clean and updated. The biggest problem was lack of toilet paper (we had about 1/4 roll when we arrived and no extras) and no conditioner in the provided bottle in the shower.
We checked out at around 6 am and the guy behind the counter was super unfriendly and stand offish.

The po and hot tub were out of order,but didn't say that online. We specifically chose Foir Points because of the pool.
Trash can didn't have a trash bag and there wasn't one in the bathroom.
You could hear everything through the walls.
The beds and pillows were AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!
The water pressure was fantastic!
UNO's was delicious!

We booked a room for two nights, little did we know that extended stay patrons only get their rooms cleaned every other day, according to the day manager who checked us out. After the first night of our stay, my wife and I got ready and left for the day to enjoy the holiday festivities in Frankenmuth Michigan, we were gone from 9am until 10pm. Upon returning to our room, the bed was not made, the bathroom had not been cleaned with the dirty towels left on the floor. I called the front desk and the night manager apologized and said she would bring us a fresh set of towels. When she dropped them off she apologized for she apologized again for missing us that day. There was no mention of the every other day cleaning for patrons who book for more than one night. Not sure which story to believe, but I've never stayed at a hotel with anything less than daily cleaning of rooms. When I booked with Sheraton I was expecting an upscale experience, didn't get it. They also charged us for incidental items in the amount of $50 that was held until we checked out, nobody ever mentioned this charge not even the night manager who checked us in, it came as a total surprise. Maybe you should disclose this charge to your customers before just zapping their checking account.

Wented a hotel close to Frankenmuth with a pool Was disappointed to fin the pool closed upon arrival. The room key did not open the door. The door was hard to open the whole time we used it. We were told there was breakfast at the hotel but not told it ended at 10

We wanted to stay at a place that had a pool. I looked at all the hotels in the area and found this one. Pictures show a great pool. We got there and its CLOSED for renovation. Would like to know that when booking. Excuse given was they were not allowed to update there web site or affiliates with that information from Marriott corporate. Very disappointed especially when you prepay and not get what you expected.

When I booked the room, I was expecting to enjoy the pool, but nobody said anything about it being closed for renovation. That was one of the reasons I booked it didn’t find out until we checked in.

The front desk staff was outstanding!
No breakfast and even though you could get a discount at the attached restaurant, they weren't open until 11:00.
The room, however, was a bit to be desired. The bed was comfortable enough but was creaky when rolling over. Just kind of odd...
In the bathroom, the sink was cracked and the shower floor looked to be permanently stained. I'm not sure what was splashed on the walls.
The hallway carpets were well past worn out.

We usually stay at Four Points When visiting Saginaw, Michigan. We’ve never had anything but excellent service. However, this time, because there was a large group staying at the hotel, we were moved (according to the desk attendant) to an accessibility room on the patio level with a glass sliding door, accessing the outside pool area.
While we appreciate that Four Points provides an accessibility room for those who need it, we do not. The main issue is the small bathroom sink with limited room for toiletries, and single small wall mirror, neither of which accommodate two people. Additionally, we were not comfortable on the patio level with the glass sliding door. While there are two locking mechanisms (handle latch and stick in floor slider trough), it still felt too exposed for us.

The hotel in itself was good. Our problem was that we had zero hot water in the room to wash or shower with. When we told the staff at the desk it was as if he didn't believe us and so what you expect to have hot water.
