Oakland Airport Executive Hotel

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. Being very unfamiliar with the Oakland airport area we did not venture out. We enjoyed relaxing with a couple cocktails. We stayed in and had dinner and breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. Parking was close and safe. The room temperature was very comfortable

The only issue was that the AC wasn’t working but it was cold enough at night to just open the window to let the breeze in. Other than that, it’s the usual tear and wear the hotel had. Looks like it’s a pretty old hotel and needs a handyman to come by and fix things to make the hotel cleaner and decent. For example, the plug by the fridge was not drilled in and lose, restroom needed a desperate repaint , and halls needed new carpet. But I didn’t go to Oakland to stay inside the hotel which is why I scored this hotel a higher rating as the location was super perfect for what I went for. It is 6-7 mins away from the Coliseum which is why I flew in for a weekend to see a Kpop concert. I flew in solo, and because the area of Oakland is general all sketchy, I would recommend you to stay here with a friend/family. Or do what I did and befriend the other guests that obviously were going to the concert. Ended up carpooling together to the concert and back to the hotel together. Just keep an open mind , you are paying way cheaper by staying here, but don’t expect a high end hotel.
