They need to secure the parking with a fence or security guard at night, too many homeless breaking into vehicles because of the location on harbor blvd….. staff was fantastic.

This hotel charges a parking fee and does not disclose the information when booking the hotel. Hidden additional charges per night for parking should be included into fee when first booking. Hiding the parking charge should be deemed at false advertising for the total amount to stay at this hotel. They only inform you when after you pay for your room. Paying to park $20-$40 extra per night adds up so you might want to look into a higher class hotel with free parking for the same price.

I liked the pool area and the fire pit. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of the first floor. The second floor didn't smell that bad, but the first floor smelled like rotten eggs. Not sure why.

The whole property had no hot water whatsoever. They knew about it and said nothing. Then got the runaround when asking for a refund. I understand stuff happens but the way they decided to handle it was terrible.

No water for shower, they said the water issue will be solve soon, sitting in the room waiting for 2 hours but issue is not solved, so I have to cancel and looking for another hotel at last mins… very difficult to find an hotel on the same day! They said they will contact you for my fully refund…

This property needs a remodel bad!! Rooms stink like feet and mold. Very dated and just not typical of other Marriott’s in other markets. Very surprising that Costa Mesa would have this level of hotel.

This is a very nice hotel with a resort type feel. They were very accommodating. I had originally booked a regular double beds room with hotels.com. When we arrived we were given a handicapped room, which is great for people that need that type of accommodation, but we do not and I specifically did not choose to book a handicapped room on hotels.com. The front desk acted like they were unaware of the original booking "code" for a regular room, but moved us to another room. As the hotel was completely booked, I would have been upset had we checked in late and could not be relocated.

The guest above me walked like a monster until 11pm, and then woke me up at 3 and then at 7. The hotel was fine and the staff was pleasant. The room was clean but no trash bags in room and the carpets were very dirty.

Check in with Daisy was great. She was very professional and caring. The front desk staff had information on hand for customers such as nearby dining options. The room was comfortable and clean. I liked the lower pull out table for writing. Breakfast at the Bistro was tasty. All in all a great stay.

The property was nice over all, however the heated pool wasn’t heated the entire weekend of my stay. Also there wasn’t a hot tub witch would have been nice. Finally the deposit process was rather deceptive, there was no mention on the original listing and it’s a full charge to whatever card you provided. So whatever the cost of the room is basically expected to pay double.
