One of the most authentic experiences we’ve had ever. Toberua is a 4 acre island with incredible views, beaches, bures. Each and every bure is beautifully decorated and has ocean views and beach. It’s a small island with 16 bures. It has a very lush, intimate feeling to it where you have ton of privacy and chance to connect with staff and other guests. Toberua had one of the best meals we’ve had in Fiji. Amazing kitchen! Last but not least, amazing staff. Such kind and friendly people! Definitely recommended and we will come back.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay on Toberua and will be returning as soon as we can. There were so many highlights - but most important to mention was the incredible hospitality of the staff at Toberua. We felt so well cared for every moment of our trip and were especially grateful for Villamina, who looked after our 1.5 year old. The excursions were lovely, as were equally satisfied with the days we stayed back on the island to paddleboard, lounge by the pool and read in the hammock. The food was beautiful, especially the lunches and dinners. Comfortable beds, lovely spa services and overall an incredibly restful week. Thank you!

The island is idyllic; peaceful and beautiful. The trips and activities are fun, interesting and relaxing. The food is delicious. The staff are exceptional; welcoming, kind, friendly, professional and excellent at their jobs across the island. The staff are what makes it such a fantastic stay.

We enjoyed our stay here on the this island. If you’re looking for a tranquil and quiet place to relax away from stress of the modern world, look no further. You will have to do without modern amenities though but it was well worth it because you can just relax and rejuvenate.

The place is amazing like many others in the world that have palm trees, sand and ocean but what it made this trip SCEPTACULAR was the people working on the island. you will get the best service in the world. the took care od every detail. We are coming back

We had an amazing time at Toberua. The staff are just lovely. It's really them who made our trip so great. The food is delicious and nutritious for the kids. There's plenty to do or nothing if you want to just relax. We can't wait to return.

Everything. From pick-up to drop off was amazing. All the staff made sure we had an amazing experience.In particular, Everette, the diving instructor gave our 11 year old son his first diving experience he will never forget. Sefu was great playing pool and games with our son. The food was outstanding at every meal. We will be back.

This was an amazing experience! I will recommend this island a lot, please mind that the cost of food and transportation is high (due of course the location) but totally worth it.

We liked the fact that it was far away from the crowded resorts on the mainland. Going in February is the best as the kids are back to school then so it is nice and quiet. The staff are very friendly and genuinely do what it takes to make sure you have a memorable stay.

Food package VERY expensive (FJ$510 for 2 adults and 2 kids PER DAY). Diving expensive. EXPEDIA package included flights to wrong airport (not hotel's fault) so we also had to pay extra for internal return flights. Also extra are return boat fares to island - should be in package as how else are you going to get there?

Exceptionally good! By far best Resort in Fiji. We stayed at several in diffrent regions in Fiji incl. The Yasawas. This was perfect in every aspects. We only wish we would have known when we booked so we could have stayed longer. The Yasawa resorts are overrated and pricy. Octupus resort for example was not at all up to standard, unfriendly staff, rather poor food etc.

The most perfect place run by the most perfect hosts. I have never been anywhere like this before. The place is paradise! The staff are AMAZING and so friendly. Thanks to Maggy and Zach particularly for making our stay one we will never forget (and hope to repeat next year!)

Does what it says on the tin! The traditional bures are excellent to stay in. You get your own bure-front hammock (I've come to judge Fiji by its hammocks!) and there are plenty of activities (some inclusive of charge) for those who get bored easily. Food is top-notch and there's plenty of it. Staff are top-quality, too. Whilst none can be faulted, look out for experienced head-barman Zachariah, a wise and efficient chap whom I sure could manage Virgin Galactic if Branson had a care to ask him, and Peter, who has a cracking sense of humour and is always good for a jaw about the national pastime - rugby! The Toberua Serenaders are worth a mention, too - three cousins with guitars who visit your table each dinnertime and will play just about anything you request; they didn't know Motorhead but, hey, they can play Floyd! Hosts Max and Sandy are also very welcoming. This resort is difficult to fault. However, it might be worth noting that this island has a windy side and a 'reggae side'. They really are like two halves of different islands and I might have felt differently if we'd stayed on the windy side. Specify when booking.

My family and I cannot rate our experience highly enough! The word perfect does not do the resort justice as it over delivers in every department.We travel extensively and are selective on where we stay always looking for that special place that will deliver a holiday to remember. While not always successful we have certainly succeeded with our stay at Toberua.From the moment you are picked up at the jetty to the tearful farewell on your departure, the resort is nothing short of perfection. All staff and management are eager to attend to your every whim with a big Bula, smile or helping hand whenever needed. The food is exceptional with each meal being a culinary delight, throw in the wonderful singing at both lunch and dinner and not to mention the to die for setting and yes you have finally found paradise (also known as Toberua!) Don't hesitate plan your family get away now you will not be dissapointed. Thanks to all our Fijian borthers and sisters we hope to return to visit you all soon.

let me start with Fiji airlines; one of the best airlines I ever flew on; nice, polite, attentive staff; on time, and pleasant. Now the hotel and staff; I honestly do not know where to start. The Island/Hotel is immaculately clean, island itself sits on one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. Great snorkeling and diving. Staff; Assa, Pita, Surali, sal, Sandy,( so sorry if I failed to mention all other names) Management; all amazing. they prepare meals fresh daily, and their chef is to die for! he accommodated my sons request for bait for fishing and cooking the fish for him every time he asked ( sometimes more than once daily) and oh, of course, great fishing as well, the guys at the dive shop, are simply, above and beyond any of our expectations. usually, one would say; 2 thumbs up, honestly, I wish I can say; " 10 thumps up", I would highly recommend this if you are looking for; stress free, friendly, one to one, attentive vacation!

We had a very relaxing 1 week stay. My partner and I chose this place because we wanted some down time - and we were very happy with our choice. The room and bed were very comfortable. It was easy to find some quiet away from other guests and families. We didn't do any activities (not what we were there for) - so can't comment on that. We mostly kept to ourselves but other guests were very social so either approach works. Note that the meal plan is compulsory and alcohol is not included. Meals were good
