We love La Paloma. We didn’t know they are in the middle of renovation. I would have booked somewhere else as many of the charming areas are closed. This should have been disclosed. It’s a lot of money to spend and not have the amenities.

We arrived at 5pm well beyond check in and were told rooms were not ready. After an hour of waiting one room was ready the other was still not ready at 6:15pm. We were offered free buffet breakfasts to which there was no buffet so we received $14 each towards breakfast which we ended up owing an additional $35+tip. Asked for a late checkout for 1pm and housekeeping showed up at 10:30am. Event before still had tables and chairs all set up with tablecloths blown all over the grass. Just a weird vibe. Disappointing!

Very clean, wonderful staff, awesome food. The only downside was they put kids above me on the third floor who were up and running at 6 am.

Beautiful, amazing pools and gardens. The food was just average and overpriced and waitstaff kept getting orders wrong (which is a bigger problem if a person has allergies). Had a problem with the room and had to move to a different room - we were given half the cost of a breakfast as compensation. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to read, relax by the pool, and take in the beauty of the mountains near Tucson.

Staff was very nice, property was run down and uninviting. Temperature inside was very cold, seemed like they didn't have the heat on. Was a disappointing experience.

Beautiful area and nice views, hard to reach front desk. Very friendly helpful wait staff, especially Saul. Parking lot is under construction so the access to park your own car was awkward but the valet was great.

The resort is a beautiful place to stay. The only difficulty was finding our building in the dark, as the complex is big. Large room and great beds! The Mountain View from our room was gorgeous.

Went for a spa weekend. Great service from the spa, front desk and restaurant staff were great. The housekeeping staff on the other hand were horable. One, when we first arrived in our room i saw that they left the keys in the room. The next day they did not replenish loation, water or coffee.

The property and the grounds are beautiful. They have these golf carts to use as the rooms and their territory is spread out around the golf course & the many swimming pools. Mostly overlooking the Catalina mountains. The first visit- as we checked out- we requested a cart to take our luggage from our room to the parking garage.. we called and waited 15 minutes. No one showed up. Then we decided to carry out own luggage to the front desk.. reception area. They did not seem to be busy, but we do don’t know why they wouldn’t send someone to our room. We came back to Westin La Paloma- a few days later to stay again. This time check out was no problem.

I loved the property and the mountains. I was disappointed that I had to pay extra to utilize the spa for the sauna. Also the rooms were not very sound proof and we could hear our loud neighbors above us. I let the management know but nothing was done about it.

The property is beautiful, very peaceful. The service is great, except when we were checking out of the resort today, we requested someone to come up and pick up our luggage from the room and also bring our car. After waiting for 15 minutes, no one showed up. We walked to the reception area and checked out. Then had to wait outside for our car to be brought up. Rather disappointing.

Property was great beautiful views! Staff was very kind and friendly. On another note no one answered room service after calling various times. It was too cold and a ways walk to go and get food. It was unfortunate that we couldnt get room service one of the nights. Other than that beautiful spacious comfy rooms

What a beautiful resort! Rooms are very spacious, clean, quiet and private. Beautiful grounds- well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for the AZ Bowl game. Close to stadium -used Uber to/from as it’s not within walking distance. Will definitely stay again when WY returns for another bowl game! Go Pokes!!!

Was really looking forward to this property but the price balanced against the experience was quite lopsided. It’s definitely showing it’s age with rooms that feel very out of date and damaged furniture. The food was below average and the bar was pretty horrific with drinks averaging $30, and total crime. The toilet in the room ran constantly and we had to remove the tank lid every time it was flushed to get the water to stop running. The power in the room was cut off in our last day and they couldn’t figure out why. Overall not impressed and way overpriced.

1st Class Desert resort. Not just in the desert, but thoughtfully melded seamlessly into it. Accent lighting on the well-kept plantings along the many walkways is worthy of a nighttime walk to wander the expansive grounds.

We had a wonderful time at La Paloma. The view of the Catalina Mountains is splendid. Fabulous landscaping. The pools were great. In close contact with nature. We even had a roadrunner visit us during breakfast.

There are so many nice things about this property, the beds and bedding are amazing, the multiple pools and hot tubs give everyone space to either relax or have fun with the kiddos. There is a water slide and areas in the pool where you can sit and read. I just loved this place

Property was beautiful! View from room was lovely. Room was large and well appointed. Shower heads- very nice! Unfortunately the staff were not friendly from first impression of valets milling around in parking lot to difficulty in reaching services by phone or making reservations for meals (walk ins not allowed) For the price I expected better service. The property was great but I won’t be back. It’s the service that brings me back, especially for what everything costs. Hospitality is more than a pretty and pricey room, pricey amenities and grounds with a view.

Overall, my stay at La Paloma was very pleasant. I would like to give extra credit to a couple of folks that work there. Dave was constantly checking up, and making sure the pool area and lobby was well managed. He made myself and family feel like home. You can tell David (Dave) genuinely cares about this resort. We will be back because of Dave. Also, Sarah, we had a wonderful breakfast and very peaceful because of her. She was very attentive and such a wonderful soul. They are amazing and not robotic at all, like at other resorts we have experienced. Thank you Paloma Resort team for making our experience a wonderful time!

checking in was great! it was easy and fast. once checked in, a gentleman showed us where the best parking was, then loaded all of our stuff and drove us to our room. he was so friendly and helpful. we got settled in, unpacked then the electricity went out. it was out for hours and the room was hot as can be. we went outside for a walk and that didn't help so we went back inside our room and sat in our balcony. nothing helped! we called the from desk and they said "if you get uncomfortable you are welcome to leave"...umm ok...I understand they must've been overwhelmed with others calling and complaining but I think a better tone could've helped. we traveled with our baby, she was so hot and red so I decided to start looking for another place to stay. right when I found one, late at night mind you, the electricity kicked back in! I understand the outage was out of their control but that doesn't mean they cannot be helpful and considerate with their guests.

Food at bar was terrible. Over breaded calamari, stale chips, frozen guacamole. As for the room, we were placed above a row of units that were being remodeled. The remodeling was going on until 11pm at night. We complained to front desk but they were no help and not willing to comp the one night, just service charges. Hotel is tired and outdated.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Property overall was less than expected. Staff was friendly and efficient. Pricing for room plus a " daily resort fee" to utilize amenities seemed ridiculous. Pool was closed for a time during our afternoon stay there, very inconvenient, for sanitizing. didn't use hot tub, golf club, gym etc for a one night stay. Fortunately next morning I was able to use the lap pool. Dining service was efficient, good food.
