Honestly, i was sooo upset with myself when i realized i had re booked the same hotel i had vowed not to book again. The receptionist upon arrival was superb. He changed my rooms for me because one had the stench of cigarettes in there and the other was a king bed, i needed two beds.
The smell of weed was EVERYWHERE!
On Saturday night when i tried to enter my room i couldn't - only to realize the key had been deactivated- their reason was in the system it read "vacant dirty"?
I had to stand outside my door with my children 3 and 1 year old respectively until 2am, then they sent the security to come check on me?! Eventually the key was activated, my children saw almost naked people parading in the hallway, people with literally cartons of liquor (this gentleman asked me what i was doing out with children at that ungodly hour)
I am so disappointed.
Ray and another gentleman, tall and light skinned were about the best thing the hotel has.

Hotel is definitely in need of some TLC. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff are friendly and helpful.the area is clean however guest blatantly smoke weed at the entrance and I suspect in thier rooms. The stench is everywhere. I wish the hotel staff could somehow prevent this from happening. the breakfast is delicious. and the coffee perfect.the area is quiet.

Check-in was easy. That evening returning to hotel, front desk attendant was high on pot and outside our room there was strong, lingering smell of pot. That lasted 2 nights of our 3 night stay. Last night the smell was gone. Checkout was easy and staff was nice.

When I got there my room had already been checked in to someone else?? They located another room for us. The place reeked of Marijuana. The door panel in the elevator was ripped halfway off. My room reeked of cigarette smoke, the carpet on the floor and couch cushion were both torn, and the carpet was dirty. There was no way we were staying there! Tell me where to file a grievance because I want my money back.

I didn’t care for my room at all and the bathroom was so small. The water was running all night in the toilet. The shower was leaking water. It won’t be back at all

Hotel could use a little refreshing. Paneling was torn in elevator, shower leaked, breakfast was on folding tables. Overall, not a bad experience but needs some updates and fixes.

Admittedly, I was a little shocked by the condition the property was in. It has definitely seen better days and is need of a good renovation. However, the staff was amazing and, though the room had some wear-and-tear, it was incredibly clean.
If you're looking for the Ritz-Carlton, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for an affordable, safe, and clean place to stay during a trip to the area, it's not too bad.

Hot breakfast was good. Beds/floors and furniture clean and overall room was clean and comfortable. Shower hot. Elevator and lobby a little beat up. Water closet dated.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The building had a few knocks but was clean everywhere and there was ample parking. Our toilet kept running water but as soon as we told the front desk it was fixed. The hotel is close to the metro station which has parking so getting in to Washington DC was simple. There are also lots of restaurants close by. I would definitely stay here again.

My fridge didn't work, hairdryer didn't work.. Wasn't able to checkout because the network was down. I'm hoping that I was checked out when it came back up because I'm need my deposit back.

Tbh it wasn’t as bad as I thought given the reviews how ever some of the reviews were very accurate. The room was clean and did smell fine. There were stains on the mattresses and the tub did leak at the bottom pretty bad. The breakfast was eh but it was free so I do appreciate it. My biggest complaint is that we were given 2 wash clothes for 4 people and when we asked for more, they said they didn’t have any. I’m sorry, what? Oh and there’s also the female desk attendant that was smoking and choking on a blunt right outside of the front doors Sunday. I understand it’s legal there but some guests do not want to smell it.
This hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for.

Woke up to shower and there was no hot water. Mgmt stated that the boiler needed to be replaced and it was in progress…..until then the boiler has to continuously be reset.
Needless to say the reset did not work!!

Mattresses look like some Mattresses thrown on the streets snd they pick it up and put a sheet on top. I woke up with terrrible body pain. I went to complain to the front desk young guy so rude. He was like i dont know whay to say to you that us jt. Stay away from this property

Smoke alarms going off when it was no smoking, floor smelled like smoke. No house keeping was on property. No soap to wash hands in bathroom.

The property is outdated. The curtains are old and damaged. There was rust on the inside of the tub near the drainage area. The hotel needs to be remodeled. The staff was friendly and someone was constantly cleaning the surfaces and wiping down the furniture in the lounge area.

Room ok, very old, rust on drawer handles, toilet paper holder falling out of wall but room doable. Nowhere to comfortably hang out in lobby to socialize with others. We were avoiding our room so we weren’t being loud for other guests trying to sleep. Security was very judgemental, accusing children of misbehaving when we were watching them and observing the entire time simply laughing and being kind so a little boy who was unattended at a computer. Felt like we couldn’t relax and enjoy a drink while security hanging over us meanwhile the entire hotel smells like marijuana.

There are two front desk staff, a lady and a young man. The lady’s response to issues is great but that of the young man very bad. I guess he is not cut out for the job. The breakfast is not too great especially the scrambled eggs is too watery. There are also no Walmart or other shops around to get basic things to buy.

Went to take a shower and the hot water wasn't working. They claimed the hot water tank was being worked on. Had to take a cold shower to get ready for my event.

Our stay here was GREAT!!! The gentleman who checked us in was great! He was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The only thing we could find wrong was the couch was not comfy in our room, but other than that everything was fantastic.

The ice machines were all down but staff wasn’t concerned, everything else was okay. Good breakfast and clean room.

I would never stay here again. The room was not clean at all. The hot water never worked. There were stains on the bed as well as the couch. The only reason I stayed is because there wasn't availability anywhere else.

Looks like this was a nice hotel about 10 years ago,
but has clearly been neglected for years and should not be open without sufficient renovations, maintenance and staffing. TV didn’t work properly. Carpets were filthy and damaged. Crumbling plaster, and patched holes in the halls Dirty laundry left more than 12 hours in the hallway. Several of the power outlets in our room did not work Pool was out of service. We saw huge cobwebs in the banquet room where breakfast was being served. Breakfast options were minimal; no fruit to be found and no coffee in the breakfast room (there was some in the lobby). Front desk staff were nice, but the breakfast hostess spent more time on her phone than helping guests Lobby garbage was overflowing more than once in the two days we were there. I’m shocked that this was a Comfort Inn, part of Choice Hotels group. I expected better.
