I arrived at 3:45pm. I approached the front desk and the staff told me to please wait. I waited but the staff just looked at me so I assume they were ready to assist me. Then a staff member reiterated to please wait since there is a staff change and that check in was not until 4 pm. I let them know the website states check in is at 3. The two staff members sternly stated that the website is wrong. They then proceeded to ask me if I have a care and I responded, yes. They then stated that Expedia reflects the price to be $10/ night but it really is $20/night. The over all check in process was not friendly. I cant believe I used one key dollars on this stay when the experience was not great. This was my first date night with my husband in almost a year and the staff here were not kind.

I was harassed by my girlfriend in the room i locked her out she went down stairs and they gave a key to my room which her name was not on the reservation she hit my with a phone i got eyebrow wound open got stiches and they charged me 400 for damages which i am not aware of stay away i will sue them

Came in for a concert at the Filmore and it was a great walkable location. Even brought our dog and she was given treats when we were given cookies upon arriving.

Very close to a lot of business and the silver spring metro station

The staff was very pleasant and my dog was welcome. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that they charge a $75 non-refundable cleaning fee for the pet, unless you have documentation that it is a service animal. They also charge $20 per night for parking in their garage, and there is NO on-street parking around the hotel.

No bathrobe, slippers, old noisy system of air circulation, old bath, no daily bottle water in the room. This should be improved.

The hotel was fine, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, housekeeping came to my room 3 times during the morning, interrupting my stay. The 1st time was before 8:30 AM. I'm not sure when the 2nd time happened but the 3rd time happened an hour before I was scheduled to check out of my room (12 PM). The second visit was while I was sleeping. House keeping entered the room and only left after I responded that the room was still occupied. I had also left items in the room (2 necklaces) I contacted "lost and found" was sent to voicemail and have yet to receive a call or email about a case or a report. I included a phone number and email to contact me.

Attractive property. It was possible to make the room dark, which helped us sleep past sunrise. The breakfast was $16/person which was reasonable all things considered.

Outdated bathroom dirty dusty vents

Check in on Christmas night was fine other than we were unaware of $20 parking fee. Coffee maker in the room did not work and was promptly replaced. Upon returning back the second night, pajama top was missing and reported to front desk - housekeeping gone for the night. The next morning we spoke to front desk clerk at checkout but housekeeping had not arrived. It has been two days with no follow up. We had to ask the clerk to comp us for parking - he only offered one day, but that is all we used. Yet we have been charged for two. The room was clean and comfortable, but lack of customer service is problematic.

This could have been a really great stay if it weren't for the condition of the hotel. The staff was courteous and professional. My room was comfortable (I had a kind of suite). However, the hotel is very much in need of repair. shabby carpets, corroded faucets and pipes, etc., took away from what was mostly a good experience.

We stayed here for a wedding nearby. It was a 5 minute drive. We were going to book at another property, but by the time my group was ready to book, this was less expensive. However, I mistook this property for the other and booked it because I thought they offered a free continental breakfast. It is not free. It's $16.99 per person. However, the breakfast os exactly the sams as a continental. I was greatly disappointed by that because we spent $40 (tip included) for a beyond basic breakfast that's not conducive to someone watching calories. Otherwise, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the front desk person that worked the night shift was kind and hospitable. And the room was clean. I recommend staying here but go out for breakfast.

This property was average. The parking lot smells of urine and they doubled the price of parking from what was advertised on Expedia.

When you walk in the floor is sticky it makes a squishy sound when you walk across it. The vent in the bathroom is covered with Dustin hair and the coffee pot didn’t work the sink was dirty and when I asked the front desk clerk to make a room adjustment or to give me some coffee she said she wasn’t able to do that.

It was great for our concert at the Fillmore. It is walkable and staff was super friendly.

The property was understaffed. Check-in took much longer than expected. The rep who checked me in was nice, but had to handle all the check-ins. Although my Room was non-smoking My room smelled like Smoke.

I really like the Doubletree. With parking included it really is the best for your money. It was clean, staff was friendly and we had a very pleasant stay
