This is the best hotel we’ve been to. I am so glad I found this property. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room is clean and spacious. No wait on elevators. The location is the best. It’s close to grand central terminal and other places so it’s very convenient for people exploring the city. They have the friendliest staff. The breakfast is a good variety. They have different options for kids and adults. The food is delicious. This is going to be our go to hotel every time we need to stay in Manhattan.

Stayed with family of 4 (2 teenagers). Breakfast was good and never seemed crowded. Great location to LIRR and metro. Nice little things like flavoured water in lobby for guests.

Personnel was great, professional, helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was very nice, good choices, good quality. Carmen, Claudia and Carlos at Breakfast were awesome! Front desk was very friendly and amicable. Kitchen in the room is practical. Close to pharmacy, coffee shop etc... I would stay away from Cognac French bistro. I am French and it was not French and neither good. This is my hotel in NYC now!

Father and son trip for one night. Very clean and spacious rooms all within walking distance to the major tourist spots. Breakfast was free and very tasty. Check in and out was seamless and quick. Will stay again.

We loved every thing about this hotel, our room, our stay. We stayed for one night in the city, date night was great and to come back to a super comfortable room, extremely comfortable bed was amazing. We slept so good , we didn't want to leave. And love the 12pm check out , way to go Marriott. We def will be back.

Excellent hotel. Had everything you needed. Rooms had full size fridge, stove top, microwave, dish washer, pans and dishes. Breakfast was excellent varied daily. The breakfast staff went out of their way to keep food topped up and tables clean. Could not fault them. Never waited for the lifts. Hotel was quiet of a night away from all the traffic noise.

We should have been informed before booking and certainly before checking in that there would be a scaffold walkway and potential morning construction workers right outside of our window able to look in. When we got to the room and mentioned it, the hotel staff told me that the workers would be able to see in, which was completely incorrect, since the scaffolding walkway was literally inches from our clear window. When I asked about a different room, the staff person started interrogating me about whether I had touched the bed or anything else in the room, implying, that if the answer was yes, she wouldn’t move us. Ultimately, because of time constraints, we decided to take our chances and stay in the original room. Luckily, it’s 9:30 am and we haven’t yet seen the construction workers outside our window. But, a better warning and attitude would’ve been nice.

Staff is great. Rooms are larger than most hotels in this price range. The exterior of the hotel is being renovated which they should alert people to on Hotels.com. As a result their HVAC system causes the room heat to be around 76 degrees. We never got a good nights sleep in the four days we were there. Do not stay there until they have it fixed.

My daughters and I were coming back to the city for an overnight to attend the theater. The room was exactly as described and pictured. Only a couple of issues. The key card didn’t work properly and the handle required a lot of force to push down to open the door. The other issue was the wifi was horrible. If you wanted better wifi you had to pay extra. Bc the wifi was so poor, it was virtually impossible to stream Netflix on the hotel tv. Lastly there wasn’t an exhaust fan in the bathroom which was odd bc there was a vent. The good: full size fridge and microwave, a dishwasher, utensils, kitchen sink. The beds were super comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was expansive and tasty. They do in fact have valet parking but there is an indoor parking lot across the street.

The room was so comfortable. But one thing - there was only one chair, so somebody always had to perch on the bed. Nice bathroom - big shower, lots of hot water.

Extended Stay Properties are a dime a dozen, and while the Residence Inn doesn’t conjure up the image of revolutionary, this property shows how the concept can be applied successfully to a city. The property felt fresh modern and clean, compact rooms that still offfered a full kitchenette. My only complaint about the rooms was I was lucky enough to get one with a private terrace but it didn’t actually open up 😔. Service gets high remarks, even when I struggled at the front desk(and called Expedia-thanks Expedia!)regarding my room they were able to accommodate me and stayed cool under pressure as other clients complained around me with their own issues, kudos to the front desk. Also love the electronic tipping option; just wish it linked to the Marriott App!

Housekeeping was accommodating. Nobody insisted on coming in to clean. But on our last day, on the morning of, we got stuck in the elevator. Reception said tht they already called the elevator guy. 30 mins passed nobody came. We called 911. When i stopped by the counter to return our card keys, nobody even tried to make it right. Nobody apologized nor tried to explain wht happened. We might take action.

It´s very convenient with the small kitchen and the location (easy access to subway is everyhting in NYC!). My room was clean. But the great compliment goes to staff. I needed them a couple of times and they were kind and helpful. Now, one special shoutout to Claudia from the breakfast service, she was amazing and made us smile every morning. Good variety in breakfast too, I must say. Thank you.

The breakfast area was optimal. There were plenty of food, the employees were pleasant. I love the fact there is a kitchenette so I could use the microwave to heat up my leftover dinner and coffee. The fitness center was fabulous...just what I needed to get my workout in. I highly recommend this place!

The best part of this hotel is it's breakfast. It has a good variety and its employees work had to impress the guests. A waitstaff member employee whose name is "Claudia" greeted us each morning and treated us as if we were having breakfast at her home. Although there were many guests she went out of her way to check if the food was satisfactory and always asked if we needed refills. Her congeniality and service will have us return to this hotel.

The property was conveniently located to Grand Central and and was a nice centralized location to access much of the city. Lovely room, very friendly staff, spotless. But the best part was that the front desk manager went above and beyond for a special birthday request that I'd placed prior to arrival. The employee went above and beyond to meet the request, making my friends birthday trip so fun and special. Top notch 5 stars - thanks again to that awesome manager!
